I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

I am also curious to know how to find out when they send your case to consulate? what kind of mail service do they use and how long does it take to reach consulate? I hope they don't use regular mail and take one month.

I just called them through their 24/7 hotline number last August 2,2006. I also received email from my employer with an attached scanned document sent by NVC that the case has been forwarded to the consulate. Last August 8, 2006, I sent an email to the embassy asking them whether they received my case, and they responded to my email last week August 10 and says that "we have received your case a few days ago..." and they told me to just wait for the mail regarding the interview. They did not mention when... anyway, I'll just wait for their letter... Hope I answered your query. Please dont hesitate to post your query should you have any clarification.
i emailed NVC last week asking if i already have an appointed schedule for interview and they replied to me that i am scheduled for an interview this September 11, 2006 at 8:30am!! whoa!!! my gosh!! i cant help myself from feeling nauseatead after i read the email..i checked it multiple times to see if im not just dreaming..whoa!!im not really dreaming when i read it..it's true!! guys maybe u have an interview sched already..please call NVC or email them now so dat we will know if ur on d list already!! im so excited and at the same time scared.. if any of u have an who got an interview sched already please let me know..

Can you provide me with NVC email add? My brother completed his case July 12, just 2 days ahead of you, so I am wondering probably he has already a set interview sched.

my I-140 approved on 4/20, DS 230 received on 7/18, when I call NVC, I always get the same response: "your case was received on 7/18, please allow 6 to 8 weeks for us to process this kind of case". not sure they finished it or not.

When was the last time you called NVC? Probably your case has already been completed. Once your case is completed you will normally hear "Your case was completed on DATE... please allow...." I think its gonna be this week.

Praised the Lord! I am happy of you that you have now your schedule of interview which is on the 11th of September. That is a good indication that schedule of interview for those who are waiting is now in place. I emailed NVC prior to this writing inquiring them about the schedule date of my interview. I hope next month too, same as yours. I am expecting that the September listing of interviewees is now ready for viewing the same listing as what they did before. Keep on posting guys for the new developments! God bless us all.
