NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Our travel date is still quite flexi at this point. We may probably not go straight to Jax right away. Hope to see you there.

Are there anyone else here going (or already in) North Florida? :monkeydance:

Hey daning,

Hi Everyone!

Iam in a delema at the moment, I have phoned NVC yesteday and said that NVC has reviewed my packet forms and that they found out that there are missing information or lacking documents in it but did not specifically said what it is. What could it be? as far as i know i have submitted all the necessary documents needed in that packet. well, except that i did not include the birth certificate of my daugther since she was born in the U.S. and she is an American Citizen, but i did wrote her name in my DS-230 forms. could it be that? Please share your experience for those who has been in the same situation or have been asked to submit any lacking docs.

Thanks in Advance!

Hi kratos!

You have the same situation with my friend, she didn't pass the birthcertificate of her husband at the NVC because there was a problem in her husby birth date. When her packet 4 arrived it stated there that she lacked the birth certificate of her husband and she just bring it during the interview. So, I think it's just okey though you didn't pass it...

Let us continue praying that everything will fine with our papers.

Goodluck and God bless... :wink2:

you're all in our prayers. nothing beats a kabayan going through a very recent and similar experience.

it can be frustrating at times and it's all boils down to the "sacrament of waiting". some wait longer than the others, but as long as you keep the faith and achieve your goals, the journey will be (hopefully) all worth it. take care.

The waiting time really varies. I, too was expecting 3-4 months but was pleasantly surprised to have my Manila consular interview in less than 2. There's a batch that really went fast. Aside from me, you can check the timeline posted by a lot of Filipino nurses just a few pages back in this exact thread. So the possibility of 2 months you were entertaining is not exactly baseless as I and some other "July interviewees" here would attest.

Anyways, goodluck in your continued wait. It will come soon. Let us know. ;)

Hi Daning! I just hope that this is not an isolated case. As what I have observed, those cases that has been completed last May were able to experience an early consular interviews as early as July including that of our colleage Ann80 & of course, yours. 2 mos. still possible but I hope & pray that the trend will not change otherwise we can experience the prolong agony of this waiting game. I called up NVC last night & as what they told me that our documents are already set to be forwarded to Manila. Perhaps, no timetable yet if when are they going to send it. Anyway, I have no choice but to wait in God's perfect timing!

^ for those still waiting, i do hope everyone will be like the "july batch". however, if you look at the general trend for the past 2 years (based on posts in this thread), our batch was unusually fast. don't really know why. is may to july a lean month of sorts with NVC or the embassy? or are new systems/procedures in place that aims to expedite the process? no one knows for sure. your guess is as good as mine.

so realistically speaking, we still can't say that 2 months is now the trend. it may just be a freak of good luck for us. but remain positive. let's wait for the next schedule of interviews as well as new posts in this thread and see if indeed processing now is faster or still the usual 3-4 months. goodluck!

hello, all! could you please direct me to the website where i could check if my case number is already on the consular interview list? if i call up the NVC after they've finished reviewing my packet 3, would they know my interview date? i'm from the phils. thanks a lot and God bless.

Hi lifehouse, when did NVC received your DS230? I've observed that most people here have their case approved approx. 2-3 weeks from the time NVC received the biographic form or DS230. For my case, it is already more than 3 weeks and NVC still reviewing my documents. NVC received the documents last July 5, 006. What about your case?

hello kurt! nvc received my packet 3 last july 19. i'm sure they'll finish yours soon. nvc says it takes 2-4 wks when i emailed them regarding this. anyway, i got the website for visa interviews that i'm looking for in page 10 of this thread LOL. reposting: http://usembassy.state.gov/posts/rp1/wwwh3227.html
