NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

to titanium & crumvy

Thank you very much for your reply.I thought the NVC really required a long hand signature. Now I know what to do. I will just use my signature which I also used in my passport and other documents so that there will be no more questions about it.

hi esterp,

maybe ul get a response from NVC within 5 days but if they still did not reply to u try calling them and they will answer u thru an automated response system..dats wer i knew when my case has been completed.anyway, i think ur case has been completed already since ur 2 days ahead from mine when the NVC has received ur docs, right? By the way wat's d web address of d list of interview dates from d embassy? hopefully we will get our interview dates dis september eh? in case we'll have d same interview date maybe u, crumvy and i will be meeting der at d embassy..hehehe

thanks titanium, i just received a response from NVC that as soon as interview date has been scheduled, the designated representative of this case (applicant, petitioner or attorney) will be notified. That additional documentation may require at the time of the interview. The same wordings as yours. I don't know if this is actually mean an approval already. Anyway, I am sure my lawyer will inform me if my case is finally approved soon. yap! how exciting really if we will be queing there in the embassy with you guys! God bless!

Hi Leis23, I think aside from those docs I mentioned, you better verify this if you still need to produce this (cenomar, singleness) certificate of no marriage record at NSO. In our case, we produced the ff: NBI Clearance, Birth Cert., Marriage Contract (if married), photocopy of our Passport (be sure with your signature affixed in it), Police Clearance ( if you happened to work outside RP) & the DS-230 (Part 1)-everything to be filled out & signed while at (Part 2 to be filled out but do not sign it). Your lawyer will just inform you anyway if something is missing. okay? God bless, Leis.

hi, esterp! Thanks a lot! I'll try to get hold of a CENOMAR. :) God bless to all of us!

hi! got our visas yesterday! the long wait is finally over:yelclap:

i really was anxious during the interview last july 13. i was raining outside, the weather was really bad and my husband and i had 2 toddlers with us. better that we were scheduled at 830am. we didn't have to wake up too early to get to the embassy.

the early steps were quite fast as our documents were expedited because we had kids with us. however, somewhere along the way, after we were interviewed by the consul, our documents got trapped and waited for a long time for its release. it really created so much anxiety on my part. all the other applicants who were interviewed later than us got their documents already. we waited like almost 2 hours after the interview. good thing that they have this staff who asked at what stage of the process are we in already. that was the only time that they traced our papers and after a few minutes, our number was called in window 34. the lady verified if we were interviewed already and we said yes. so my husband and i thought that probably they accidentally put the papers together with those for interview still. whew! god is really good.

so for those who will still have their interview in the coming days, please be alert of the interview process, especially if the delay is obviously noticeable already so they could check on it right away.

god bless to everyone!

hi daning!

wow! congratulations to you!

godbless you more,

Daning, congrats!!!!!

We also received ours 5 days ago, See you in Jax!

hi agp_ph,

here in lax, you'll get off the plane.walk very far.. hahaha.. and then

go to this special lane for immigrants who 1st arrived in the u.s.

they will ask for your visa packet and passport.

(no x-ray,but bring it anyway)

then they will get your fingerprints.after a while an immigration

officer will do something about the passport and packet; they will

confirm your final address. they will ask you to

claim your baggages first from the carousel.

and then voila! they will call your name and give your passport

to you again with your INS number written on it.

i don't know if the process is the same in JFK, but

probably they do have similarities.

it's me,

Peanut,

Thanks for sharing this! Now I have an idea what to do when we get to LAX (which we plan to be our port of entry).

Goodluck!!!!!!!!!

Hi titanium, Here's the link, as you can see " Visa Interview Appointments" then find the word "click here and check your case number". But it's unfortunate that when I enter my case number it will appear the word "case number not found on appointment list". Perhaps, they are still encoding our case numbers. I hope that will be the case. Actually at the recent schedule, there were abnout 140 cases they had released for interviews covering the months of May,June & July 2006. Anyway, here is the link:

If in case upon clicking this link there is an error in it, you can go to page #10 of this thread & look for the post of Rep. where he also posted the website. Thanks & God bless us all!
