NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Visa received : ???

Date of entry in the US :???

GC receive : ????

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

Thanks so much twinkle_bell, :icon_hug: this will help me a lot. I will assemble all my needed documents for the meantime that im waiting for my appoinment.

Gud day!... :wink2:

^ to Leis23,Esterp and sarahluo: I don't think there's much to be worried about guys.

action on the "50K limit cut-off" will take place either at the USCIS or NVC level. Meaning, they will hold/stop approving Schedule A petitions most probably at the I-140 stage once the limit is met. But if your cases were already approved, it meant you still made it to the quota. the US embassy has no choice but to conduct consular interviews once th NVC forwards them your papers as it is already deemed documentally qualified.

btw, just finished consular interview. i think it's overrated. once you're OK in NVC level, i guess everything is just a matter of formality... unless you screw up big time and do something horrible with your supporting docus and the interview itself

Anyways, Goodluck!

hi, daning.

I hope you're right. I'm praying and keeping my fingers crossed!:)

Thanks for your input!

Leis

oh, one more questions guys. How did it take for your DS-230 to arrive after paying for the visa fee bill? i want to download the form online and send my birth certificate and NBI clearance. Is it wise for me to do that and send them to my lawyer? thanks.

Thank you Daning for your word of hope & inspiration! We are just waiting now for the result from NVC. I e-mailed NVC last July 16, but until now I have not received any words from them regarding our case.

Hi Leis23, if all communication is directed to your Attorney of record from NVC, just contact or communicate with your lawyer since he/she is the one who will send the Instructional packet including the DS-230 part 1&2 & other impt. intructions from NVC. You better download from the internet DS-230 forms as your draft or reference. Regarding your personal documents such as NBI Clearance, Birth Cert. etc. it is likewise better to send it directly to your lawyer together with the DS-230 forms & other impt. docus at least in one large envelope. God bless!

Hi Esterp!

We almost have the same timeline, May i ask when did NVC recieved your DS-230 forms? Mine was recieved July 14.

Thanks and Good luck!

Hello Kratos! I think i am ahead of 20 days since my documents were received by NVC last June 26 yet. I have been tracing the case of titanium, it was stated that her docus were received last June 28, & with another follow up that her case was already appoved last July 14, In this view however, i have been speculating that my case was also approved too but i don't have any official confirmation yet from NVC. The last schedule of interview dates were from JUne, JUly & August 2006, I hope that there will be new list of cases scheduled for interview soon possibly September, October & November 2006. I hope we guys will be included in this new set of cases to be interviewed soon. Because of the world events happening right now, we need God's intercession that everything go smoothly without hindrances. God bless us all!

Hi! could anyone here share their experience/process form the the NAIA airport to the time they arrived at the International airport in the US(partivularly in New York or any state if no one went to NY). Want to know what an immigrant nurse has to go through(how they process arriving immigratnts at the airport). Thanks.

hi agp_ph,

here in lax, you'll get off the plane.walk very far.. hahaha.. and then

go to this special lane for immigrants who 1st arrived in the u.s.

they will ask for your visa packet and passport.

(no x-ray,but bring it anyway)

then they will get your fingerprints.after a while an immigration

officer will do something about the passport and packet; they will

confirm your final address. they will ask you to

claim your baggages first from the carousel.

and then voila! they will call your name and give your passport

to you again with your INS number written on it.

i don't know if the process is the same in JFK, but

probably they do have similarities.

it's me,

peanut
