I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont

Hi crumvy!!!
my case was completed last june 5 and i am scheduled to have my interview on august 15. i learned about my sched 5 weeks after case completion. i guess you'll have your interview late august or first week of sept. try calling NVC often so you'll know early. that means more time to prepare for the medical and interview. Just a piece of advice, secure all the documents that you'd possibly need. GOODLUCK to us!!!!
Thanks a lot twinkle_bell...:thankya: I hope so... my interview will be soon.
Just want to ask if what documents will I prepare besides those that are required like visa screen, updated job offer and etc..
Thanks again and may the good Lord bless you in all your undertakings especially the new life ahead also with your family...:loveya: :wink2:
crumvy,
as far as i know you will need the following docs for the medical exam. appointment letter (packet 4 docs), valid passport, US visa photo (7 pcs.), old x-rays and immunization records (if available), and medical fee ($95 adult and $67 children). During interview, in addition to visa screen and notarized agreement, you might be asked to present any of the following: NSO birth cert and marriage cert if applicable, valid NBI, DS 230 part 1&2, valid ID's, resume, cg cert, toefle tse results or ielts, OTR, Diploma, baptismal cert and wedding pix. all of these are applicable to the applicant and dependents.
Hi, everyone!
Just sharing my timeline again:
I-140 receipt notice: Dec. 8, 2005
RFE received: March 23, 2006
I-140 approval: May 19, 2006
Case sent to NVC: May 22, 2006
Case number assigned by NVC: June 19, 2006
Choice of agent form received by NVC: June 21, 2006
Visa fee bill generated: June 26, 2006
Visa fee bill paid: July 14, 2006
What's next? :) I'm kinda scared after reading the Visa Bulletin for August 2006. They said they will put a cut-off date for the Schedule A visa as early as October. Will I most likely be affected by the retrogression? Thanks. Need your input, guys.

Our docs were sent to NVC last June 2006 but we are still waiting if the review has already been completed. I am afraid of the latest visa bulletin for 2006 "that on Schedule A (EX) Visa category is approaching that limit, and may require the establishment to cut-off date as early as October. Once all 50,000 numbers have been made available under the current limitation, processing under this category will END. I hope & pray to God that all of us who are still waiting for the interview will not be affected by this"!
