NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

Processing Center : Vermont

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

I just want to know how did you sign your DS230. Did you use your original signature or you sign exactly (in long form) as your name appears on the forms? I asked this question bec. my agency told me not to scribble my signature but instead sign in long form but the problem is, I don't use this signature when signing any documents. Pls. advise me on what to do.

Hello nicole!

When i sign my ds 230 i used my true signature (I mean the one which is not in long form) because it is what I used in all of my documents such as NBI... So, why don't you try to ask your agency again telling them that you didn't use it and instead you used the scribble one in all of your documents.

Goodluckand God bless... :saint:

hi esterp,

maybe ul get a response from NVC within 5 days but if they still did not reply to u try calling them and they will answer u thru an automated response system..dats wer i knew when my case has been completed.anyway, i think ur case has been completed already since ur 2 days ahead from mine when the NVC has received ur docs, right? By the way wat's d web address of d list of interview dates from d embassy? hopefully we will get our interview dates dis september eh? in case we'll have d same interview date maybe u, crumvy and i will be meeting der at d embassy..hehehe

hi nicole,

in my case i used my long hand signature in all of my documents including my passport just d same as what i used for my cgfns documents too..i used d long hand because i always hv d tendency to forget sometimes d detailed strokes of my non-long hand signatures so to be safe i just used d long hand one..hehehe hope dis helps...

Hi! Got our visas yesterday! The long wait is finally over:yelclap:

I really was anxious during the interview last July 13. I was raining outside, the weather was really bad and my husband and I had 2 toddlers with us. BEtter that we were scheduled at 830am. We didn't have to wake up too early to get to the embassy.

The early steps were quite fast as our documents were expedited because we had kids with us. However, somewhere along the way, after we were interviewed by the consul, our documents got trapped and waited for a long time for its release. It really created so much anxiety on my part. All the other applicants who were interviewed later than us got their documents already. We waited like almost 2 hours after the interview. Good thing that they have this staff who asked at what stage of the process are we in already. That was the only time that they traced our papers and after a few minutes, our number was called in window 34. The lady verified if we were interviewed already and we said yes. So my husband and i thought that probably they accidentally put the papers together with those for interview still. whew! God is really good.

So for those who will still have their interview in the coming days, please be alert of the interview process, especially if the delay is obviously noticeable already so they could check on it right away.

God bless to everyone!

hello! I need help with my NVC processing. Here it is, my case was filed to USCIS last March 2006 (couldnt rem the date) then the USCIS issued the Notice of receipt last March 23, 2006. After that they issued my notice of approval on May 5, 2006. If they issued the notice of approval the next step was to follow up in the NVC if they received my petition from uscis ryt? I called the NVC through their hotline number and gave my uscis receipt number as instructed by the robot. But, unluckily they still do not have any records showing the status of my case. I understand that it is written in the NOA that I need to wait for 90 days before making a call, so i was just trying my luck 'coz mostly my colleagues in the agency got their NVC number already (I'm reeferring to the MNL- number)...and some of them passed the NBI, BC and other stuff for there pocket 3. I am way left behind. What will I do now? my 90 days will due on Aug 5, 2006 and it's still 2 weeks away from now.

So you'll be working already 2-3 weeks from now. HOpe everything goes well on your first day.

God bless you on your new life there.

Unfortunately, I tried calling NVC to check my status, it still says that NVC received all documents last July 5, 2006. I hope everything will turn out fine. Same for the other aspirants!!! Hope to get timeline from the others as well.

hello. Im confused with my NVC processing. Coulld anyone help me.. Here it is... My case was filed last March and received my notice of receipt March 23, 2006. My case was apporved May 5, 2006. Since the USCIS apporved my case all my documents will be in NVC already. I checked the NVC today (july 21, 2006) they still do not have the record of my USCIS receipt number.

I know that we need to wait for 90 days as what was written in the NOA. But did anyone experience the same as mine? Wherein you haven't receive the NVC number for more than the usual?

Thanks. Any pertinent input is highly appreciated.

Thank you Daning for your word of hope & inspiration! We are just waiting now for the result from NVC. I e-mailed NVC last July 16, but until now I have not received any words from them regarding our case.

Hi Leis23, if all communication is directed to your Attorney of record from NVC, just contact or communicate with your lawyer since he/she is the one who will send the Instructional packet including the DS-230 part 1&2 & other impt. intructions from NVC. You better download from the internet DS-230 forms as your draft or reference. Regarding your personal documents such as NBI Clearance, Birth Cert. etc. it is likewise better to send it directly to your lawyer together with the DS-230 forms & other impt. docus at least in one large envelope. God bless!

thanks a lot, esterp! what other documents do i need to forward aside from birth certificate and NBI clearance. i'm single with no family. :-)
