I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Thanks so much for the info. I guess we have to wait for like 3-5 months (it could be worse) for my brother's interview. I know its a long way from now since his case has not been completed yet. But its better to wait than none at all. He was anxious about having to retake his NCLEX since he already past it last Oct 2005. If he could not come up with a Social Security Number, then his NCLEX result will be invalidated. I love this thread, very helpful.

I received an email from our agency/lawyer that my interview is scheduled on June 23, 2006. I never expected it since my case was just completed last March 29. At any rate, Im very happy that I will soon be interviewed. Yeheyyyy!

am a little bit CONFUSED! i will be sending already my docs. to NVC such as: Birth Cert.,Marriage Contract, NBI Clearance, Police Cert. is it ALL in ORIGINAL copy? otherwise, i will be bringing photocopies of these docs. (except for my visa screen) during the interview, please help!

yes, you will be sending the original copies of your documents except the visa screen (needed during the consular interview) and of course your passports (hehehehe).. you just need to provide them a copy of the picture page of your passport with your personal information..
i got an e-mail today from the representaive of my lawyer saying that i am scheduled for interview on june 21, 2006 at 6.30 am...:balloons:

if that is the case, we supposed to obtain beforehand (2) copies each of our Marriage Contract, Birth Certificate, NBI clearance etc.. this is actually one of the reasons why our docs. seems to be long pending already in our custody & all of these are supposed to be sent back to our lawyer in the States. how i envy some of our friends who are now scheduled for interview. anyway, this is just like going into the race, some are ahead while some are still at the back (this is where i belong temporarily) in God's time, we will be at the frontliner already. hehehehe!
