I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005
Visa received : ???
Date of entry in the US :???

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
Hello! I am new on this forum but i have found it very informative and helpful. I would like to askyou guys, my brother is in Philippines under Schedule A, with I 140 approved last 4/21/2006. He passed all requirements already and has a visa screen on hand. I have heard infos that it takes 5-7 months just to schedule an interview for Manila US Embassy?? Is that true?

hi blonde joy,
well mine took about 9mos.after the notice approval.. soon he will be receiving his packet 3 or ds-230.. as soon as the fee bill arrives he must pay it and forward it to nvc asap, nvc will forward the ds230 then again submit it to nvc, after a week or so they will be asking for original documents (birth certificate, nbi clearance, copy of passport picture page,etc.).. 10-15 days after submission of all requirements will be the case completion.. if completed he must wait for 3-5mos. for an interview schedule.. Visa screens are presented during the consular interview in the U.S. Embassy in manila for your information.. Since Schedule A's are being processed "CURRENTLY".. no need to worry about waiting for "years".. the completion of cases really depends upon how soon you foward it to nvc.. take the case of my friend, she got an approval from uscis last august 31,2005, mine was september 26,2005 but her lawyer was not able to forward her ds-230 sooner that is why she still must wait for 5mos.for an interview schedule.. while I'll have mine this june 2006 already.. for your guidance see the other posts from this thread..
it's me,

hi hael,
my case was completed january 23, 2006 but forwarded to embassy on may 4, 2006. this is the exact message i've heard calling nvc's automated voice response system "nvc has completed the processing of this application and has forwarded it to the embassy or consulate in manila on may 4, 2006.
please contact the embassy or consulate for further questions."
i hope i'll be included in the june list since there are only 137 ex category posted for june interview compared to 704 scheduled for may. i guess the list would still be updated may be this week or next week.

my friend,
this is indeed good news. this means your documents are all with the embassy in manila now.
this means you're being queued for interview.
keep watching those interview posts from the embassy website.
good luck.

Hi kingofheart
Thanks for the reply. :)
So I guess I don't have to download and print another copy of page 2 of the ds230 form anymore? All I have to do is type my additional info on an empty bondpaper, indicate their specific number, and then attach it at the end of the formn (i.e. after page 4)?
