I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Not sure how you can continue without a employer as your visa is employer based
we are in the same boat. he said he will not continue processing my papers unless i pay or i find another agency who is willing to buy me out. my pd is april 2006. btw, i don't know my case number, he won't give it to us.
Thanks for the very helpful information. I finally got my renewed Visa Screen. I was actually amazed on how fast CGFNS processed my application.
Before I move on with my current dilemma let me share my case beginning with my PD to my current status. It may help other Nurses who are at the same situation as I am.
PD is February 6, 2006.
Became current last December 2011.
Interview Schedule from NVC was received 2nd week of January 2012
Interview Schedule: February 21, 2012
Rescheduled Interview: March 20 2012 ( because of incomplete requirements e.g updated Job Offer )
VISA SCREEN APPLICATION ( I had to re-apply as initial application since my first Visa Screen was 2 years expired)
Third Week of January - processed PRC and School verification ( forwarded documents to CGFNS through courier )
January 31 - Paid CGFNS for Visa screen application
- CGFNS received PRC document
February 9 - CGFNS received School Documents
February 18 - Took IELTS Exam
March 3 - Ielts results where released
NOTE: Please ask your respective test center if they have cut-off dates in sending the results to CGFNS. I tool IELTS at the British Council and they can give you three options as to how you want the result to be sent to CGFNS.
HOWEVER, Since I cannot wait for the cut-off date and i dont want to pay for a courier I went to CGFNS website and input the details of my exam in my profile
March 5 - CGFNS updated English Test Result with the actual score
March 6 - CGFNS forwarded the document through FED Ex
March 10 - Received Visa Screen Certificate.
Now with my current dilemma... Can anyone suggest any agency who are willing to support nurses with current PD? Same thing with other nurses here, My agency is not working to and for my advantage. They just informed me that my employer has not given a firm decision whether they are abandoning me or not. I dont want to waste anymore time since we all know that retrogression is always looming ahead. Ive done my part in completing the requirements needed on my end and its as if they are not doing what they are supposed to and expected to be doing.
My stress isnt over yet, please help me find an agency who will accommodate me.

hi guys i got the email now from NVC. I am scheduled for my embassy interview on April 19, 2012. Thanks God after all this years- 6 years of waiting!. Now I am booked to fly to manila from the middleeast on the 14th of april. I dont know my Medical sched yet.

hi fleour. i moved my sched to april 23 since i am thinking i might not have enough time for my medical. usually medical can be done 1-2 weeks before your sched interview. what your pd? are you also for interview?
Hi nurseako. Thats right, youll be short of time if your schedule is April 19. My PD is december 2005. I was supposed to be interviewed on december 2011, unfortunately my petitioner would not give me job offer because there are no more vacancies in their hospital(kaiser permanente). I did not attend the interview as advised by my agency, and as advised by US Embassy ( i emailed US Embassy and informed them about my abandoned petition, they replied that i will not be issued a visa if my petition as been abandoned). I have a new petitioner now who is processing my packets all over again, fortunately i retained my dec 2005 peiority date. Im currently in packet 2, waiting for NVC to request my ds230 and fee bill. I hope it wont take long to reach packet 4. Good luck to your interiew!:)
at least they gave you another chance to retain your pd. as for my my agent has no word yet from the employer. but i am still hoping for a JO before my interview
My PD is June 2006. I already moved twice. I was wondering how I can ask the embassy to send any letter to my current address or at least to my email? I noticed that the lawyer did not put my email in the petition form =(
