NVC -CP- GC Tracker

World Immigration

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Hi Excelsis! May we know your petition date and when did you receive the email schedule for interview?? Thanks :).. Mine is still on Mar 13, 06 and.. hopefully it'll be current on march VB

feb 22, 2006, current by next vb :) i wanted to know also approximately how many days after vb comes out will you expect to receive the email regarding interview. we'll be current heinrick!

I guess you will be receiving the email this month of February since you're already current this month.. or you could follow it up on the embassy about your status.

I just want to ask now that my Pd is almost within reach, I am having a problem with my employer. May I know if an employer can entirely change the contract and ask me to pay everything he has spend on me before he gives me the job order I will be needing on my embassy interview. He wants me pay my attorney's fee and not only that he downgraded the salary we previously agreed upon. He is asking me to sign an entirely different contract or else. Can they do that? My employer is reputable company and I don't know what on earth happened for him to change everything. Do I have a choice, my God, I have waited for so long to deserve this.

Still a long & uncertain way to go.

hi, I would like to know if someone has given a visa without nclex in US embassy Manila. my PD is 14 April 2006, no nclex and no employer. I opted not to take nclex because my employer told me to take it upon arrival in the US. I was only informed that my petition was abandoned late last year... so sad. I'm now working here in Abu Dhabi...

With regards to having no nclex, i have no idea. But i have the same case as yours being abandoned by petitioner. I received an appointment letter for embassy interview on dec 2011, i emailed the us embassy manila that i will not be able to show job offer since i was abandoned by my petitioner, they replied within four days that i cannot be issued a visa if my petition has been abandoned. I did not go in my interview coz it will just be a waste of money paying for medical exam and plane ticket coz im from mindanao. Now i have a new petitioner and is going through the packets 1-4 again, luckily i retained my priority date which is january 2006. Now im in packet 2, waiting for NVC to send me iv fee bill. I suggest that you look for a new employer/petitioner as soon as possible. You can email manila embassy if you are still doubting, they always replied to my inquiries within 7 days.

I copy-pasted the response of us embassy to my email inquiry regarding my case being abandoned by petitioner:We understand that your current employer has no longer the intention to employ you. To sponsor you for a visa, your new employer will have to file a new visa petition (Form I-140) on your behalf. Any new petition will be given a new priority date.* ***Immigrant Visa Correspondence UnitConsular SectionU.S. Embassy, Manila1201 Roxas Boulevard1000 Manila, PhilippinesThat was their response. But luckily i recaptured my original priority date when my new employer filed my new i140...Hope this helps.

Hi Fleour, thank you for the feedback. I'm also from Mindanao specifically in General Santos but currently working here in abu dhabi. can you please give me the email address of US embassy Manila?

Actually I was about to give up my US dream when my employer abandoned my petition but my friends in the US are forcing me to push through my application. God bless us all...

[email protected]s is their email ad, when sending email make sure to put in the subject line your full name, case number, visa category, priority date. In the message i also added my petitioners name. I think you need to provide complete data or info re your case before they entertain your email inquiries.
