NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Visa received : ???

Date of entry in the US :???

GC receive : ????

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

point taken.... lets just be hopeful...currently appplying for IVT training and looking into HD training too,so that resume will be a little bit more marketable and competetive, even with lapses in nursing experience..very difficult to apply in hospital right now like you are competing for 1 vacancy , applicant is 10 or 20 whew!...will keep updating..

By the way, I also talked with Dr. ********. We would meet with the US employer on June 11, after an endorsement from the POEA. I hope I can finally have my Priority Date recaptured. I've been waiting for this for so long now.

@mylagakan,what is your PD?did you have your interview date already?

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

If this is the case then things change because back in 2005 my employer cancelled me because they decided no more foreign nurses and refused to let me keep my PD and when I found another employer I had to start all over again with a new PD

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.
my pd is JULY 2005. my previous petitioner abandoned me. and then i found out dr. ****** and his recapture group.

Well if your PD is July 05 you should now be waiting for an interview as current processing times for most is Sept 2005.

well, as far as we were oriented with the new NVC policy, a petition is owned by the PETITIONER. Such that a new employer cannot assume that petition. but the PRIORITY DATE is awarded as the applicant's benefit. the new employer has just to file a new petition with the attempt to recapture the Priority Date and not the previous petition.

@mylagakan,

yup!this is also my understanding, where did you have your NVC policy orientation?

my pd is JULY 2005. my previous petitioner abandoned me. and then i found out dr. ****** and his recapture group.

@mylagakan,

we have the same PD July 2005,receive an email from NVC notifying me my appointment visa interview, unfortunately I did'nt push thru and planning to have it resched after I find a new employer,(i'm waiting for the feedback of this one agency i inquired with) did you have a notification from NVC already?:crying2:

Hi!

PD Dec 8 2005 here. Praying and hoping that we will have the visa interview soon.

At last, after playing by the rules, after 6 years of waiting, I'm finally here in the USA legally as permanent resident with my family.

Goodbye everyone, and to those waiting, pray to God and good fortune.

:D:D:D

Great to hear that greenjungle.

May i know what your PD was and when you had your visa interview?
