I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

God bless!
You need to speak to your lawyer and get them added to your application. Yes you will need to resit English exam and repay Pearsonvue for vsc just look for instructions on CGFNS visa screen certificate renewal
Thanks so much, Silverdragon! Glad you are still very active in this forum and still helping nurses all over the world. I will talk to my lawyer soon and ask him to add my husband and daughter before my PD becomes current. :-) I'm planning to take the english exams soon. Thanks again!

Hi, jigsaw!
Did you update your documents and DS-230 again when your PD became current? Thanks!
The long wait is over. For those nurses with Pds beyond 2005, frustration will be your constant friend.
Coming to the USA is now extremely difficult for nurses.
Lucky and blessed are those who squeezed through and played by the rules.
Goodbye and keep on waiting to the rest.

Oh well, if that's your way of being negative, then that's true. But I always believe "Good things comes to those who wait". Doing nothing while waiting creates frustrations. My PD is still 2008 but I'll wait for it. In a while that I'm in a waiting mode, I kept myself busy and currently, I already had my 3 years paid hospital experience, gaining grounds in MS and ER. I was considered by Kuwait-MOH for a possible Nurse job and God Willing, I could have a chance to work there within this year. So you see, there's no sense of getting frustrated. I even enjoyed it.:yeah:

Hi Sophia,
You're in a very difficult situation. My PD is Nov 7, 2005, it can be current anytime now. I received an email from my agency that my petition is still ongoing but unfortunately there are no positions available in the hospital right now. My previous contract that I signed with them is null and void, t'was 5 years ago. They said they will try and find a job offer for me. I'm still hoping for the best. Anyway I've heard that some agencies are helping out those who were abandoned by their employers. What they do is recapture your priority date and start from there. It is still unclear to me though. What Im trying to do now is look for a back up plan. My family is helping me find another employer who's willing to continue my application if ever my current agency drops my petition. Does anybody here know what to do? Sophia and I need your help! Thanks!
Hi Mumnurse!
thank you for your reply, yes, very difficult indeed but at least your agency is still viable, however ,mine is closed already,(i think) my sister who is currently in the U.S say's she's been calling all the given contact numbers ,unfortunately no answer, same scenario my sister is also looking for an agency who will be willing to recapture my visa, anybody there who had an agency we can inquire if they are accepting application with our current status?mumnurse and i will be very grateful..help pls!

I feel like everything is hanging by a thread. Hubby and I saw this post from docsupan ([email protected]) from another forum and he said he can help nurses with abandoned petitions. I emailed him already, still waiting for his response. It's worth a try although I need to check if offer is true. Hope this helps.
