NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Date of entry in the US :???

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

i feel like everything is hanging by a thread. hubby and i saw this post from docsupan ([email protected]) from another forum and he said he can help nurses with abandoned petitions. i emailed him already, still waiting for his response. it's worth a try although i need to check if offer is true. hope this helps.

due to the length of time the industry has experienced retrogression and the unemployment rate in the u.s., some nurses are being canceled or abandoned by other agencies. if you have a greencard application prior to 31 december, 2006 and need a sponsor [color=#2e5f93]please e-mail us for information on how we can help you maintain your priorty date and find a great career opportunity. o'grady peyton is part of amn healthcare, the leader in healthcare staffing and management services in the u.s.

hope this help too.lets keep updated from time to time..:)

Just a word of advice, be careful with people promising "recapturing" your PDs for you, I can tell you with certainty that the fate of your application rest at the hands of your original employers/petitioners only. If you look at the Notice of Receipt when your I-140s were filed, there is an entry for PETITIONER and their name is clearly stated there. That being said, the USCIS (formerly BCIS) and the NVC have considered the application based on the petitioner's individual circumstance and each case is considered unique and evaluated individually. Therefore these cannot be carried over to another entity/corporation/institution/individual unless your employers have specifically entered into such an agreement with them or in the case of a merger, and the merging company is the one assuming the role of the petitioner.

My point is, without the consent of your petitioners anything that has to do with these particular immigrant petitions are beyond legal. Finding a new employer means they have to start all over again, get into the long queue and wait. Why these have to be done again is because each case has to be processed and assessed by the US immigration in accordance with immigration laws.

Best of luck to all of you.

@mage82ph

thank you for your very informative input...:nurse:

hi mumnurse!

the email ad that you shared earlier in this thread, already responded to my inquiry, and inform me that employers from US will be arriving this mid of June, and they have me prepare for an interview, did they responded to you as well?

No problem...This is just to guide you, its an old thread here at allnurses:

Apparently many UK nurses were also dismayed by this agency's "promises"

Hi Sophia! Yup he replied to my my queries. He said the same thing, employer coming over in june for interviews. Although I told him, I am still with my agency. With your case, have you tried going to your agency's office? Because they should have at least give release papers so you can find another employer.

hi mum nurse!yup ,contacted them already, have to talk to the one incharge for some clarification, about the release paper...hopefully everything will work out fine for us..lets keep in touch:nurse:

What did your agency say? I have talked to Dr. **********. He is affiliated with Medpro Staffing USA. They need proof that you were released from your previous employer/agency before anything else. They are hiring for Florida hospitals.

Hi mumnurse..actually,I was not able to talk to the person in charge for International nurses, they told me that she'll be back next week for she's currently out of the country,hmm..i hope it will not pose another problem for me,getting a release paper from them (local agency),i have to communincate with him though, since i cannot contact my U.S based employer...by the way are you working in a hospital setting?

No I'm not. I quit hospital work due to stressful shifts and small pay. I am working as a freelance editor and proofreader for healthcare websites. Pay is good and I can stay home with my kids. Always update us, and don't lose hope!

yep, totally agree!more work small pay! sometimes no pay at all,but i guess we have to embrace it(hospital /nursing exp),since most of the U.S hospital employer are very keen when it comes to hospital experience, they want current and in specialty area (this is based from one of the agency i inquired )..nevertheless let's be hopeful..lets keep each other posted for any dev't.:-)

Even if I want to work in a hospital I just can't. I have mouths to feed. The pay is not ideal for a growing family like mine. They can't blame me though. I'm not a millionaire and I have been waiting for my visa for 5 years now. I spent loads of money for licensure and english exams, they can't expect me to stay working in hospitals here with that kind of pay. If my PD gets current and they want me then good. If they'll trash me because I don't have current experience then fine, it's not my loss. They've already spent money for my petition. It's their call if they want their efforts wasted :)
