I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005
Visa received : ???
Date of entry in the US :???

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
Hi! my case is completed last Nov. 2, 2005. I am hoping and praying also for a february miracle!:balloons:
looks like februrary ain't a possibility for us.
called up the NVC hotline this morning and talked to a personnel.
our case number did not reflect a february interview date. i was advised to check by the 3rd week of february in order to see if we're included in march.
but miracles being miracles, who's to say?
:)

Is it possible that you are not scheduled for the February interview because of the date of your case number and there are still others who are much earlier than yours? Does the date of the case number matter in prioritizing the interview dates? Can anyone please answer this?
This forum helps a lot ! Good work to all the nurses !
Thank you :)
Hi Folks,As I have told that i got my visa I am waiting for my term permit to enter US. My agency said that is somethig only for nurses who has not writen NclexRN.
Any idea about this. who is issuing it?? is there anyway we can track it?
I suppose to be there by 23rd of this month and they said they haven't got that yet...
Suzane, Rep any clue about this...

Sorry, but they are lying again. There is no such thing. You can get a green card with either passing NCLEX or the CGFNS exam. It is not treated any different. The Embassy is the one that issues you the Visa. And it is the same thing for those that pass either CGFNS or NCLEX. The actual green card will be sent to you in the US.
When did the Embassy tell you that you would have it? They should have said something to you.

Hey Suzanne,
I think she was referring to as "INTERIM PERMIT". An interim permit is issued by the State Board of Nursing that you applied for when you had not YET taken NCLEX. It is a temporary permit so that you can WORK PROVIDED THAT A REGISTERED NURSE (licensed in the state you applied and working) WILL GUIDE YOU WHILE WORKING.
An interim permit is not a requirement to fly to the U.S. Maybe it is the agency's policy.
still dale
