I am conducting a survey. Who would be interested in babysitting/working as a nanny while in nursing school? You'd be able to set your own hours based on exams and clinical schedules.
Also, please provide any feedback on how you feel about working while in nursing school and any issues that you come across.
Thank you!!

I would not. I would seek out a CNA/CHHA/or PCT job more in line with my educational pathway. I have NO desire whatsoever to work as a nanny or babysitter. The last time I worked as a sitter for a non-relative I think I was 16 years old. (Not counting watching my child's classmate after school so the mom could run an errand/work later/take a sibling to the doctor)
Working in nursing school is an individual choice. For some it's mandatory to support a family and there is no option.

So you would set the hours and not the family? I would not want to be a nanny. It's just not my cup of tea.

Are you in school? Are you a RN? Are you looking for a nanny?

What's the reason for this survey?
I'm a nanny/babysitter in nursing school and make a lot of money. I work per diem at my hospital but don't get many hours so supplement it! I say yes or no on a week by week basis, and can load up on hours with different families, or take time off if needed to study for a test. No problems so far and I make $12-20/hour depending on the family. MUCH easier than a PCT/CNA job and I get to study at times.
