Go to the front page of this website and I think that there are some uniform websites listed. I think that is where I learned about the allheart.com website. It has lots of shoes... good luck! Let me know what you find out. I really wanted nurse mates but wanted to try some on before ordering. I ended up with rockport walking shoes... if I find better ones for clinicals I can always use them for walking!

I struggled so much with plantar fascitis in the past, and when we moved to Florida it was unbearable. We have a tile floor, and walking on it in bare feet exascerbated the problem. My sister, a surgeon, recommended Merrell's, which she wears in the OR, and they cured me. The Walking Company has them, and if you know your size you can get them online at places like shoebuy.com. Sizes run pretty true to size. Their white shoes are really nice, and worth every penny.

personally, I love my New Balance walking shoes but if you don't want athletic type shoes... I have heard good things about Easy Spirit Walking shoes, some of their styles are not too sneaker-ish. I would suggest buying your shoes in person at first so that you can get a feel for them. Good luck!

I got my nurse mates at http://www.allheart.com and love them!
The thing to consider about allheart is that they do have decent proces but....the regular shipping takes forever! (maybe that is just b/c it is coming from CA to AR...who knows...but every time I have ordered they have taken the full 10 days)

Have you tried the Life Uniform website. Or try a search for nursing shoes. I'm sure you'll come up with something.
