I am going to apply for nursing program next year, and I have noticed that there are three pre-entrance exams that nursing schools require students to take are the NET, TEAS and HESI. I am now preparing for TEAS. Can anyone tell me the website to look up all nursing schools that require to have TEAS test? thank you
Very interesting.
I've taken both the TEAS and the NET. I'm looking for schools that still take the NET. I heard it's being slowly replaced by the TEAS as time goes on...I know the private school I applied to here in CA will now only be accepting TEAS results (they just made the NET/TEAS switch). I'd prefer to use my NET scores since they're much better than my TEAS scores, but it seems schools that take the NET are disappearing!
I went to an information session not to long ago at George Mason University. To apply to the 2011 class, you must take the TEAS exam. I have the electronic version of the McGraw-Hill TEAS study guide if anyone is interested.. At georgetown's information session, they did not require any exams
It does depend on the school. For the Associate Degree Program in Wisconsin all Technical Colleges are requiring you pass the TEAS. It's not that hard and most schools do have study guides in their libraries for this test. They just want to know you are sufficient in math, english and science. You do have to pass the test with certain scores or you won't be allowed into the program. Trust me these tests are nothing compared to the tests in the core nursing courses. Good Luck.

I'm in Nor Cal and I know most of our private schools don't require the TEAS. Some require the NET, though. The NET was by far wayyyyyyyy easier than the TEAS.
Anyone know schools that still require the NET? I heard it's going "out of fashion" :)
