Nursing School Jitters?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I start Nursing School Janurary 14th @ 8am. My schedule is 8am-5pm M-F until we start clinicals which are 7:30am-3pm. 9 hour school days are LONG! whew. I'm having such jitters, wow. I'm very very excited too all at once. My mind is swirling with all the thought of school, nerves, praying I'm smart enough when it comes down to the core. I have 3 children, a husband and 3 dogs, can I juggle everything? laundry, dinners, cleaning house? Is anyone else having such nursing school jitters? I've worked so hard for this, now I'm here and now I'm stressed..

I start in January too and I've got jitters too! We start our orientation class which is a one week course before all our other classes start - from 8-5 even on a saturday!! What I'm mostly scared about is how stressed I'll get. I keep reading these threads on this site of how everyone hates NS, and how overwhelming it is. My friends are in NS as well and they complain like crazy. I am soo hoping I'll do ok and not have some nervous breakdown!

We don't even get a "fresh" orientation. My school does the orientation in June. 6 whole months later I get to show up to class clueless (well, you know what I mean!). I can't tell you how much that thrills me :uhoh3:.

5 weeks N' counting!! So so very nervous of the "unknown" lol. 40 hours a week in nursing school plus I say between 10 & 15 hours of studying, I hope I can manage with everything! I'm so scared.

3 more weeks for me!! Now If I can only get my dumb loan sent to me I can go buy my school supplies!

My orientation is next Monday AND Tuesday...I don't know what we could possibly do for two days...but atleast I got my loan money FINALLY!!!!!!!
