New Grad - Resume Review Appreciated!

Nurses Job Hunt

Published

Specializes in PACU, Stepdown, Trauma.

Hi all,

I'll be a new grad from an ADN program in May and am starting to apply to graduate nurse positions. Help in reviewing the resume before I apply would be greatly appreciated! The formatting is better in the Word doc.

Per the advice of the lead instructor, the resume does not include any mention of clinical practice, but I do have a cover letter that mentions the fact that my senior practicum is on a cardiac critical care floor and discusses that experience.

OBJECTIVE

To obtain a position as a Graduate Nurse at XXXXXXXX where I can utilize/further develop my critical thinking skills and nursing judgment to provide quality patient care and satisfactory patient outcomes.

Thank you!

Specializes in Multiple.

Is NCLEX-RN correct? I always understood it that we put which board of nursing has licensed us.
