RN TO BSN?

University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) offers 100% online RN-BSN, relatively low cost (depends on the pre-requisites you need to do), which can be completed in short time (again, shorter if you have pre-reqs completed). For example, if you have a non-nursing BS degree, you will be able to "get out" of many of the required courses with your previous coursework. There are a minimum of 10 courses that you will need to complete at UNCW. I am getting ready to finish in March, started in May, so 10 months? But I was able to clear all but the 10 minimum required courses due to previous degrees. Another advantage is you will get a grade point average, not pass/fail, which is important depending on the type of graduate work you might want to do later.

Western Governers University all the way!!! Fully accredited, online, self-paced, can be done in under six months (for very driven students), and is just under $4000 per six month term.

Fort Hayes University is all online, supposed to be one of the cheapest programs around, around $200 a credit hour. WGU is also cheap, but is priced by 6 month terms, I heard it was more like $6000 per term. Very few people complete it in one term, even 2 terms is pushing it but a lot of driven folks due it. 3-4 I think is their average. Fort Hayes is more traditional. WGU just does pass/fail, so your GPA for grad school is considered a 3.0 I believe. Both programs are regionally accredited and accredited by CCNE ACEN.

WGU is 3250 per term, 6.5K per year. It's about as cheap as you can get since most people finish within a year... I did it in one term, it's awesome!

Hi when you say one term do you mean 3 months? if so, how were you able to finish that workload so fast?

Do not listen to what others say many embellish their experience.Go direct to school academic and financial counselors .Look at the catalog and make up your own mind,just because someone claims to have finished in one semester does not mean all the real details are there.Many have previous credit ,help,support you might not have ,therefore you can not duplicate their individual experience.Good luck for your future.

True, but I'm already attending Fayetteville State RN-BSN and love it. Will be graduating in May.
