Parkland Dallas Summer 2018 Graduate Nurse Residency

Nurses Job Hunt

Published

Just starting a thread for Parkland Dallas! Has anyone heard back about anything?

Honestly I will be shocked if I get an offer. I'd be thrilled to get one I just didn't walk out of there feeling great. Seems like the interviewers had already sat through a lot of interviews with a bunch more to go.

what questions did they ask??

Does anyone know how many applicants the NICU will be hiring?

Oh ok :-/ I bet you did better than you think though! I am really nervous for mine. I wonder how many people they are interviewing. Did they tell you how many people they are going to hire for NICU?

I also had my interview yesterday and I honestly felt awful. I'm not sure if it was just me, but most of the questions threw me off because I just didn't expect to be asked those kinds of questions. I'd also be shocked if I get an offer but would love to work there... :(

They'll be taking 10

Specializes in ICU, ED.

Hi Everyone! I haven't heard anything yet. I a have three positions that have been accessed & my next step is blank. I just graduated with my ADN. Are those of you getting interviews BSN grads or ADNs? I've applied for all the major hospitals & no luck yet.

Thanks & good luck !!

I just graduated with my ADN in December. Parkland is the only hospital that has called me for an interview. I have gotten rejection emails from Baylor and THR. I'm still hoping to get at least one interview with THR but so far so luck. It's very tough out there for ADNs for sure :( I'm just going to try and finish an RN-BSN program ASAP.

Yeah, I also graduated in December but with a BSN. I have not had any luck in attaining an interview since I started applying in October. I just dont want it to be too far off before I ever get a job. I was never a nurse tech, which I feel is crucial to have when applying to hospitals in the DFW area. I now have my RN so applying for any nurse tech jobs isnt even a possiblity now.

Anyways, I wish everyone the best of luck with their interviews! We'll make it!

I don't have any experience working as a patient care tech either.. kinda regretting that decision now!

Do any of you know who the recruiter is for the NICU?
