The syllabus for this class was emailed yesterday. Most non-clinical assignments are DB items. Clinical looks fairly straightforward that culminates in a research paper. These are not clinicals in the classical sense of the word. Each week you are asked to submit a small assignment such as topic of choice (from several choices), outline, plan and final paper.
Looks like they paired down previous assignments for this class to accommodate the 'clinical' component. No quizzes. Only one book required and it is an easy read.
I'm joining this thread! the directions are all over the place! lots websites and articles to"check out".
Yes, the directions are all over the place. I will try to maintain my patience during this course. I just have to keep telling myself, "Only 5 more weeks and I'm done with my BSN." That will get me through! Good luck everyone.

On a side bar....I was just informed that, after everything we did for the conversion to semesters, I am short 5 credits. 5!!! With only 3 classes left. They don't know how or why....just take "anything"... Man am I disgusted with this place even more.
We CAN DO THIS!!!!!! Busy day at work!! I really do not feel like sitting and having the patience to read and write!! I am spent!! I have off tomorrow! Maybe I need to do most of it tomorrow, because I do not see myself retaining a lot tonight!! I am just glad I found this website again!!

Oh no, so sorry michelemybell. I feel your disgust! More jumping through hoops...
You will get through, the end is in sight.
I chose safety. The topics are very broad. Look at the KAS on the QSEN website to see if it helps to narrow it down for you. The grading seemed to be very fair with my TA...just fill in the template and it will kind of come to you as you go. At least it did for me in that class.
Good luck.
