If anyone else applying for the nursing corps scholarship 2015-2016 is anything like me then you've been googling like crazy trying to find out information on how to apply or what they need or even previous years winner. Soooooo.....if anyone is applying this year around or previously has and was or wasn't accepted please tell me your experience! Here are my stats PLEASE share yours if you'd like....

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!! I can hardly breathe. I just got my email!! Washington, DC last name M. I am soooooooo thankful. There is still time everyone. Keep checking. Credit checked on the 28th!
Congrats!! I'm trying not to panic. All the loans I've applied for keeps getting turned down. If it's not one reason it's another. My only hope is this scholarship. It would be a blessing!
Same here... credit checked on 29th and nothing else yet... I'm trying to accept that I won't get it, and then if I do, it will be a very pleasant surprise. If I don't, I will reapply next year and life goes on!
I'm so on the edge my heart drops every time I get a notification that someone posted on the forum (haha bc it just says "...Nurse..." In the notification bar)
Does anyone know if you choose to reapply next year and have a summer semester of school if they will reimburse you for it. I mean school did start before September right?
There is still time to receive a notification! Remember that HRSA finished scoring less than a month ago. It looks like this year's waves of notifications mimic last year's.
Last year, credit reports were checked on the last week of July, and applicants received notifications through August and into September.
Its still very early. Last year, there were waves of notifications each week until the end of August, and a couple of people received notifications the first week of September.
Remember that the people offered scholarships this week have until next week to respond. If one of us decides not to sign the contract, or otherwise declines the offer, our scholarship will be offered to an applicant in the next rank.
For those of you who are curious, the subject of the notification email reads, "ACTION REQUIRED: NURSE Corps SP Award Confirmation Requested"
Itsjustcassidy I think i saw someone the other day say they got it without their credit being checked.. and I hope that's right because I haven't gotten a credit check either.

Congratulations everybody that has received the award!!! I am still waiting, but I am glad there is a website like this to keep me updated. I am still hopeful. Everyday I pray to receive a email, and I pray everybody who has not heard anything as of yet hears some good news soon. í ½í¹
