If anyone else applying for the nursing corps scholarship 2015-2016 is anything like me then you've been googling like crazy trying to find out information on how to apply or what they need or even previous years winner. Soooooo.....if anyone is applying this year around or previously has and was or wasn't accepted please tell me your experience! Here are my stats PLEASE share yours if you'd like....

That's true. I'm not sure if he meant they've been rejected while under review or just got a flat out rejection letter. Then he said I have until September:no:. I said technically August because if you don't here anything by the end of August that certainly means your getting rejected because all of the documents have to go in by a certain time. I wanted to say sir, I'm not stupid:o lol.
LOL. yeah in last years thread there was only ONE person that got acceptance after august 31st. Everyone else got rejections.
I was reading through forums from last year and some people got a finalist award august 1st without ever having a credit check
ALSO some people had their credit checked early and never got the award OR didn't hear back till mid august.
Sooo it could go anyway for any of us. Let's just keep praying keep praying and keep our fingures crossed. No matter what WE ALL DESERVE IT! Being in such a rewarding field and working our A**ES off to get to the point we are at. (But this scholarship would being the cherry)
Do you know exactly what they are checking for in terms of "delinquency"? I know the Application Guidance says any judgment liens that arise from debt owed to the United States? But, what exactly does that mean?

I had to look it up because I had no idea what that means either but here it is:
[h=2]DEFINITION of 'Judgment Lien'[/h] A court ruling that gives a creditor the right to take possession of a debtor's real property if the debtor fails to fulfill his or her contractual obligations. A judgment lien may be made against an individual or business and allows the creditor to access the debtor's business, personal property and real estate, among other assets, to pay the judgment.
Great job everyone I hope you all get it I haven't heard anything. I have efc of 0 but nothing. Its a blessing for you all to have had such good news this is a lifelong blessing. Congrats
