Re: Wubbzy

  1. Hi, I'm wubbzy's daughter and I helped her find this site. I know she liked this forum so I wanted to let you all know she had her sentencing hearing and will be gone for six months in a treatment center. It's not jail, but it is a lock up facility so I don't believe she'll have access to a computer at all to update you herself.

Anyway, thank you for being here for her when she needed someone and I'm sure she'll be back in six months to support and be supported.

    Thanks again.

I went back and read her OP... So, what happened to probation? I guess they did end up taking a harder stance with her instead of PO/outpatient treatment.

Whatever the case, I hope she is ok and does well in rehab. I hope I get a break if/when I get charges pressed....

One day at a time and am going to a meeting soon. Finding a job is ROUGH! Didn't realize how lucky we RN's are when it comes to job security/demand!

Hi all......This is Wubbzy....I was looking things over and saw what my daughter wrote here (didn't know until now) and I did not get any of your"KIDS"....but I'm glad my daughter updated you all about me. I thought I was going to get probation and an ankle monitor. Instead, I was sentenced to 6 months in a Correctional Treatment Facility (CTF). daughter was mistaken...."It IS Jail!" but not where we are put into typical jail cells. This was more like a dormitory setting but all in lockdown. And they made sure we knew we were "in jail." So I guess it is whatever you want to make it. I was there from Oct. 21st and was released 121 days later on Feb 18th (a week ago). The remainder of my 6 month sentence is done in the Aftercare program at CTF and have to be home certain times in the evening for their curfew call. I have this till the end of April.
I've been busy this last week, haven't dealt with the BON yet. My attorney has them on hold till this legal stuff settles down. I'll try to check and respond to more threads here eventually. I don't have a whole lot of time to spend on the computer.
Thanks again for your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes....NOW that I know I got Love ya for caring!

Thanks for the update, wubbzy. No doubt these last few months have been difficult, but I am glad you are putting one foot in front of the other. Take care and stay strong.
