2017 NMC UK Decision Letter

World Registration

Published

Hi Guys,

I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?

Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

hi everyone! I just would like to share my journey to becoming a UKRN someday.

-Passed all barcoded forms last December 15,2017

-Last February 2,2018- received a feedback from the assessment officer to add further information ( original copy of Transcript of records and breakdown of RLE ) sent them last saturday Feb 3,2018 and currently waiting for it to be delivered to the UK

- wil probably arrive this thursday Feb 8,2018.

and now, patiently waiting and praying that my DL will be released once documents arrive in UK.

How long does it usually take to have my DL after submission of further documents?

Hi! my case is almost the same as yours but I have not receive a feedback from NMC yet.

Hi guys!

I have sent all my barcoded NMC forms and they have uploaded it on 25 January 2018. Just recently i noticed that the 'Read Only' and all the tabs under full application and assessment in my portal was missing. I can only see below the note that they will assess my application within 40 to 60 days. Is there something wrong? Is there someone out there who has experienced it too? Im really frustrated.

Hi, guys! Just wanna share with you all my timeline (from IELTS up to CoS). I sat the IELTS and CBT in Saudi Arabia, then went home to the Philippines to gather and process all the required docs.

(CBT Review: 1 month~)

- CBT: November 4, 2017

(Gathering of docs: 1 month~)

- Received by NMC: December 6, 2017

(Processing: 50 Calendar Days)

- DL Released: January 25, 2018

- Medical Exam: January 29, 2018

- CoS Filed: February 5, 2018 (Expected to be released by Feb 15)

Projected to fly by the end of this month - roughly 5 months after I took the IELTS.

Hello!

I am currently processing my papers for NMC. I was planning to mail my downloaded forms by next week. My most recent employment was in Saudi Arabia thus I am having a bit of a hard time with my Saudi papers. For the RAV, I do not have anyone who can go to Saudi council to process it for me thus I will be submitting a blank RAV form with a recent Certificate of Good Standing. Can anyone provide me with a sample of the explanation letter to be submitted? Please email me at [email protected]. Thank you very much!

Another thing, would it be best for me to send the documents by myself or there's nothing wrong with forwarding it to my agency to save courier fees? Is it okay to send it under one parcel or do I need to send my school and PRC documents separately from my other forms? I'm under omanfil btw. Hoping for your assistance. :D

Hello there. Will try to find the letter I used for the Blank RAV. Btw, I think you already have an idea of the requirements but to be sure, let me remind you that all your Saudi Docs (SCFHS Professional Accreditation paper and the Police Clearance) must have Official Translation PLUS the Certificate of Translation.

Also, upload a DETAILED CV under your Personal Info page in your NMC portal (page where you also upload your passport). Include in that CV your employment gaps (if more than 6mos) and indicate reason (i.e. Applied to various hospitals / Underwent BLS and ACLS trainings, etc).

With regard to your query, your PRC docs must be sent by PRC; while for the other docs, including your school papers, you may let Omanfil send them for you - this is accdg to my friend under Omanfil.

Lastly, TRIPLE CHECK the barcodes used for the references. You dont want to be delayed for days just because of a simple mistake.

Where are you bound to?

East Sussex-bound, sir/ma'am.

Hi all! I entered the queue last november 30 then I received a feedback from NMC last January 20. I've sent all the additional documents needed and was received on Feb 2. I asked my assessment officer about the status of my application and he/she told me that the 60 days period also applies for re-assessments. Does it mean I have to wait again for another 60days? Please enlighten me. I have read that others received their DL right away after complying the additional requirements.

@Layla11 According to the numerous people (here on this thread) who've been required by the NMC to send further docs, DLs should be received just a couple of days (a couple of hours to 5 days) after successfully complying to the assessor's request. Otherwise, you should already call them.

I'm already in contact with my assessor and that's what she told me. It's been 6 days already since the additional docs were tagged received on their end.

Hello, I got a feedback last Jan 18 and need to submit again a document. Accdng to their email, it will come be under assessment again. But I think it really depends on the assessor. I read some thread here that the monent her doc was recieved , she got her DL after 2 hours. As for me, I sent my document and once recieved, I will try to convince mine.
