Hi Guys,
I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?
Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!
@kiksgalero: from which trust is your wife with? I'm with omanfil too. There are some agencies that allow their applicants to apply for visas (with COS already) even without the DL yet. I guess omanfil doesnt allow it anymore.
My wife is with XXX. Since we got her DL last January 17th, she will join the 2nd batch of nurses to be deployed on March. As with her COS, XXX told us that she can get it hopefully next week. I'm just frustrated with their lack of assistance for their candidates.
Hi,I am currently on assessment stage of NMC application.I am on assessment queue since 5/12/2017.I haven't heard anything from NMC till now.Anxiously waiting...Just wondering is there any one who was on the same date has already received feedback/decision letter.Thanks.
Hi...i was on queue last 4/12/2017...i emailed NMC 8/1/2018 and received a reply 22/1/2018. They told me i will receive an update from them by the mid of March...hopefully it won't take that long.
Hi. I am under CTN/IPAMS and been waiting for my COS for months already. Did you receive yours already?
There is definitely something wrong with your application. The application for COS happens every 5th of the month and is awarded 15-20 days later. Yours is taking forever! Please contact your agency and urge them to do the needful. Otherwise you have all the legal right to change employers.

When you apply for a visa, you need to fill up certain details (COS number, annual salary, address of sponsor) so you need to have that COS. The decision letter though will be needed as a supporting document when you submit them to VFS. Best to apply when you have the DL already. Like I said previously, the fastest visa can be given in 5 days or less (if you are willing to pay the premium service).

CTN just updated me last friday that i am approved for a position in addenbrooks hospital and have instructed me to start processing for visa requirement. So im expecting that COS will arrive soon. Praying for it coz im on the verge of changing agency if this will take long.

FYI, CoS application is only on the 5th of the month, them saying that it will arrive soon means, probably another month. That's why I left that agency, they were never straightforward.

Hello, i got a feedback also to resubmit another reference form form my employer in Dubai bec the dates written are prior to my registration. It is very difficult now for me to get bec I am in the Phil now and nobody will process it for me. I emailed my assessor if i could submit other doc to prove my employment being registered. I am praying that I can convince her.
