I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?
Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!
I got a feedback on 07/02/2018 asking for police certificate since mine was more than 3 months old at the time I uploaded it; employer reference; breakdown of academic hours into clinical and theoretical hours; declaration of good health, I will post them by Wednesday hopefully
Queue date starts from when all your documents were received (online and post).
Submitting your application online does not mean that you're on the queue. Once you see that the documents posted to the NMC were tagged as received on the portal, then you are officially on the queue.
The standard is 40 to 70 working days. Most applicants receive a feedback after 50 calendar days. Some lucky ones have answers before that.

i just want to clarify, when I submitted my application in the NMC portal, does that mean I'm in the queue?
I submitted mine last 29 Dec and I'm kinda anxious that I haven't heard from them.
Also, how do they count the number of days, do they include weekends or workdays?
@Layla11...I e-mailed my assessor that NMC has already received the re-submission document,which is even before NMC tagged my document as received.I used the postal tracking and informed the assessor by e-mail and after 2 hours I was able to download my DL.
Pls how do you know it's your assessor who have mailed you. About 5 different people have mailed me . Thanks

I got an e-mail from one person after 50 days to ask me to submit the reference form again.So I assumed she is my assessor.
hi @remuk I did the same thing when the assessor asked for my original transcript of records and rle. Emailed him instantly when documents arrived in nmc last feb.11.But I still got no replies from the assessor and its been 4 days from then

Just relax. It will come soon. I got mine 11 days after I resubmitted some documents. You will all get your DL soon. I was back on queue last Jan 18 and got my DL on Jan 29.
