My application status says submitted. I am not sure if it ever switched after receiving the email that I was under review.

When you submitted, did you submit everything needed? Only asking because I had originally submitted my application with the wrong formatted SAR. They had replied me and said that I wouldn't be considered for review if that SAR report was not updated to the new 2024-2025 version. I would call them and ask them to review your information or you could look at what you submitted just to make absolutely sure. Hope this helps. I totally understand the anxiety because Im under anx heavy and just want the month to be over so I can know my next step.

Hey! I'm also an applicant and here's my theory. Nurses and/or a previous awardees gets the awards first. I seen on this forum that a couple of nurses got awards and I know of a woman on tiktok that got the award, she's a nurse as well. So I'm sure this attachment I found holds some truth. I spoke with someone today, I forgot her name but she told me they award up until the 30th. I know someone posted that if we don't get it by Thursday then we may not receive it at all... The rep also told me there were no abnormalities on my application and they're wrapping up my review (I submitted the last day). THEN she said they haven't ran out of funding. So my fingers are crossed for all of us!!

Hi there.  If it helps, I have never been a recipient, no healthcare background, but I have a negative SAI and from disadvantaged background such as growing up in an underserved community and first generation. I was awarded last week. I pray the rest of you hear some positive news soon.

Hi,

I have a 0 SAI and come from disadvantaged background. Did you just get the COI last week or you actually got awarded? My credit was checked in August but haven't heard anything yet and my application says under review. Wondering if there's still hope since I'm hearing of people with 1500$ SAI getting COI and being awarded but I haven't.

I think you're on to something!! This makes alot of sense. I also think that each reviewer has their own caseload and some might be starting the process quicker than others, it seems each does it their own way which is why some statuses are not properly updated, some got credit checks or didn't, and some are getting the COIs ahead of time while some aren't.

(I spoke to a rep and she said the COIs already sent out were early)

I submitted my application the day before it closed,  received a credit check in August, got my COI on Sept 4, and received award email last week on Sept 20. I have a feeling there's going to be a lot more COI/awards going out maybe the end of this week.

Hi guys I'm reading the theories and discussion and thought I would share some more information incase it helps anyone. I'm an RN and got the award for the Nurse Corps Scholarship last week! I am in an FNP program and will graduate in 2027. I have an SAI of 2701. Also, they post some of their data directly on the site from previous year awards. I'll attach a link, but they go over what percentage of those awarded are in RN, CRNA, NP, etc. programs. They mention how many applications there were, and even gender and race.

no. I got an application status update last august and I never got anything from them ever since.

NOOOOO THIS IS GOOD! That means you're in the final stages of review. Your reviewer may just have been a bit behind. I think each does it differently
