2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program

Published

Hi Everyone,

I didn't see a thread created for the 2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program yet. This will be my 3rd year applying. I'm applying as a staff RN with a HPSA score of 17. Hopefully, they open the application cycle soon.

I agree as well, I think the set up of it is weird, Did anyone find their aid summary report in the federal loan website or for the disbursement report did you have to contact each of the lenders?

A representative finally emailed me back and asked me to send her all of the error messages I was receiving. She said she was going to investigate further and get back with me. Every time I try to submit my loan information, I get error messages and they are different every time. Also, once I get this all figured out I'm going to call my loan servicer. I already emailed them but have gotten no response.

Has anyone heard anything from the BHW regarding the loan thing not working or did you enter your loans manually?

I entered then manually,  but it requires paperwork from your loan servicer.

They said that IT is working on the problem. She said she would call me next week to assist with submitting them manually.

Can we make it a conference call?!??  I'm trying to enter my loans manually, and it is confusing!  What I'm struggling with is the documentation.  My servicer hasn't published any updated account statements since last March, so I'm going to have to message BHW to ask whether a screenshot will work.  And if my documentation shows all the account information, plus disbursement date, payment information, and most recent balance or payoff date, is that good enough?  Should I just upload the same document 3 times, or are they looking for something different?  I wish they were more helpful in answering questions....

Once I get it figured out, I'm going to call my loan servicer and ask for the specific documents.

Exactly!  I’m just going to upload what I have.  This is ridiculous.

This is a disaster...apparently I don't have the correct account number as I enter the loan information in manually. I can not go back in and edit the account number either..."another glitch in the system" has anyone had any luck. The BHW person I speak with is not help at all.

I received an email yesterday stating that IT is working on the issue and someone would contact me as soon as it’s up and running. In the meantime, keep trying.

Thank you for the update, I have spoken with the same lady the last 2 weeks and she has not been the most helpful! The application is due April 8, correct?

I spoke to them as well, no help. I called my loan providers and they said they're no longer able to provide me with a disbursement report since everything is electronic now a days, I might just screen shot my payment history and save it as a PDF.  Is anyone else doing that?
