2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program

Hi Everyone,

I didn't see a thread created for the 2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program yet. This will be my 3rd year applying. I'm applying as a staff RN with a HPSA score of 17. Hopefully, they open the application cycle soon.

From my understanding, it almost sounds like if you are in compliance with all the requirements that it will get extended automatically. I am trying to find the exact application deadline for a continuation contract, does anyone know?

Has anyone received any info regarding continuation?? How and or when??

I received a response to my question from the message I sent through the portal. The response as of December 14th was that they don’t have any dates set for the continuation contract application.

Hi all, I got an email today that the 2021 loan repayment application cycle opened up again today. How do we apply for the 3rd year? Does any one know I cant figure it out on the site.

I know that this has probably been asked before and I apologize.  However, we do have to file the W-2 they send us as taxable income, right?

Help! I just saw that for some reason my June 2020 payment was not applied to the correct loan.  Is there anyway I can correct this or am I *** out of luck for the continuation now?

Has anyone had trouble accessing their loans for the continuation application? I get an error message each time.

Yes I have gotten one every time! I called and emailed and they said to just manually enter them

Same for me. I tried to manually enter them and it's not letting me do one at a time. I'm wondering if I should add them together. It's the same account number.

Are you guys getting your loan lenders to provide all of the paperwork for each loan we have to enter manually?  This is a bit much!

I submitted a request for HRSA to walk me through the process. It’s almost like they want us to say forget it. We should be able to upload from NSLDS.

I totally agree.  I put them in manually but now it requires all of this paperwork.
