Hi Fellow Nurses!

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the 2017 cycle opening?

I have applied several times and praying that 2017 is my year. I'm tier 1 - not faculty and not an NP.

Is anyone else out there?

I am truly sorry for those who did not receive an award this year. I absolutely know that sucky feeling. My hope is that you all will keep at it, because eventually (4years later), it paid off for me. GOOD LUCK next year!!!

This was my second year applying. I applied while I was getting my bsn, then skipped a year and waited until I was completely finished with my bsn, which helped my dti. Definitely keep applying and good luck next year to everyone!!

I received my "not selected to receive an award" email yesterday. :(

I assume everyone gets the same generic letter. I'm definitely applying again next year. Does anyone know of any other programs like this that I could apply for?

After being in the "finalist for award - under final review" category then getting a denial letter yesterday was pretty disheartening. Will try again next year! Congrats to all who received awards!

I am so sorry, I have been following for several years, and never heard anyone say they received a denial letter after being a finalist, I am in shock. When did you receive a finalist for award notification?

It just seems like once you get the finalist notification you will receive the award, I have never seen a person post otherwise.
