NSU Nursing Winter 2019

Published

Hi everyone! I'm a long time reader, and brand new member! I couldn't find a forum on here for the Nova Entry-Level Nursing Winter 2019 semester so I thought I would just create one.

I was actually planning to start in Fall 2018 but I saw on a recent post that both the Miami and main Davie campus programs are full for Fall 2018 which is a huge bummer.

Has anyone interviewed yet for 2019? How did it go? How did you dress? Any tips? Thanks! :)

Got my interview date, YAY! Does anyone have any points and tips on interview and Kaplan?

Omg ! Congrats :) did the email or call ?

Thank you. I called to check the status and they said that my application was just processed and were just getting ready to send me an email for my interview, so we scheduled it while on the phone. I did recieve the email after we hung up.

Do you have any pointers on the interview questions and Kaplan? You said you were accepted to West Coast, correct? How long after interview did it take you to find out?

Hey no interview I just sat down with someone in admission and it felt more like a conversation. If u don't mind me asking what gpa did u have when u applied?

Hello! Are any of you guys attending the Miami campus? It would be great to meet y'all at orientation!

I plan on attending Davie. Anyone else planning on attending Davie? Definitely would be great to meet some of you all. :)

Hi guys!

I just applied to NOVA for the Winter term. Do you guys think it's too late? I have an overall GPA of 3.5 and I've already taken all of the pre reqs with A's and B's. I have great work experience by working at a PT clinic for more than 3 years, however when I called NOVA they told me they don't take any letters of recommendation. I'm hoping to get an interview soon! Also, I submitted the NursingCas application first and they have already received my transcripts, do I need to send them to NOVA as well? How long did it take you guys to get a call for an interview? Should I call after a week or is that too soon?

Thanks in advance!

Hi! I think that is a solid GPA and no, I do not think that it is too late. I would definitely send your transcripts to Nova directly also, that will speed it up. It took me a month to get an interview. Which campus are you applying to?

Hi! Thank you for getting back to me! How was your interview? And the Kaplan exam? That's a great idea, I will go ahead and send them the transcripts as well. I applied to the Miami campus, but my second option is Fort Lauderdale.

My interview is on Oct. 2. :)

Good luck! I'm sure you'll do great :)
