Hi everyone! I'm a long time reader, and brand new member! I couldn't find a forum on here for the Nova Entry-Level Nursing Winter 2019 semester so I thought I would just create one.
I was actually planning to start in Fall 2018 but I saw on a recent post that both the Miami and main Davie campus programs are full for Fall 2018 which is a huge bummer.
Has anyone interviewed yet for 2019? How did it go? How did you dress? Any tips? Thanks! :)
Hey guys! I had a little bit of a problem, I don't know if anyone has experienced this before. I actually got my acceptance package for Winter 2019 BEFORE having my interview and entrance exam (which is scheduled for Oct 2.) Of course I was extremely excited and happy but also a bit skeptical. Like why did I receive this before having my interview, ya know? So I called Kate and she told me to disregard it because it was a mistake! Can you guys believe that. Well I will obviously still be going to the interview, but I'm just trying to wrap my head around how they can mess something like that up. Has it happened to anyone else?? Oh well *sigh*
I applied to the main campus- Fort Lauderdale. I opened it and it was two acceptance letters, and all the forms for stuff like immunizations needed and to make my 200$ non-refundable payment to hold my seat, even an NSU number. I was hoping maybe the fact that I'm an LPN with 1.5 years work experience got me in, but that was just wishful thinking haha. I'm super disappointed though. I'll just do my best on the interview and entrance exam and take it from there. Kate reassured me to disregard the whole thing and to not worry about it. But I'm still upset LOL.
I wonder if there's anyone whom has ever gone to the interview and not been offered a seat.. also does anyone know some of the interview questions that they ask. Asking for a friend lol
