Hello perspective nursing classmates! Applying to any nursing program is nerve wrecking but I'm hoping this thread will allows us to help each other and support one another during this difficult process. Some of us have been through this more than once; hopefully it will be the last. I want to wish all of us the best of luck! :nurse:

Hey giggles I received the invite by mail. The open house features many majors including the nursing program. They give tours of the campus, there are financial aid sessions, and more. There is one on Friday October 22 from 3pm-7 pm and another on Saturday October 23 from 9am-2pm. I think this would be a great way for us to meet.

Hey futurenurse, I also want to go to the open house. Maybe we can meet up. Everyone lets all try to make it so we can meet up. If not maybe, we can do something before school starts.

Hey everyone!! I hope you are all great!! I am sure you are all as excited as I am...Only about 3 more months until our journey begins!! :p

I have a few questions. Have any of you received your financial aid awards yet? Is anyone planning on taking out private loans?

I figure I will have enough money to pay for tuition between financial aid and the government loans, but I need money to live and I am very worried this is going to be an issue.
