Hello perspective nursing classmates! Applying to any nursing program is nerve wrecking but I'm hoping this thread will allows us to help each other and support one another during this difficult process. Some of us have been through this more than once; hopefully it will be the last. I want to wish all of us the best of luck! :nurse:

hey jani, Ms. D.C. (those are her initials) fixed my classes but totally changed EVERYTHING :(....I now have three E1 and one E2. I am not sure if I should try to change it myself again..

Furturenurse does the classes come up twice like before were you see the dropped classes and the added classes again ?

if not....

if you only see your four registered classes I would try first adding the E2 classes and then dropping the E1 classes but first make sure the drop option is available next to your E1 registered classes.

Did you ask her to register you in E2 classes ?

I got my financial aid award but my grants plus loans does not cover my entire tution at all. I asked for a higher loan amount but they said they couldnt and that I needed to do the Parent PLUS loan. Has anyone else had this problem? I am thinking of just taking out a private loan but I dont know which is a good one.

I already had three E2 classes and one E1 class. So I dropped the E1 class and asked her to add the E2 class and I even gave her the CRN number..but instead of doing what I requested she did the opposite and change my entire schedule to three E1 and one E2 class. :( .....I am able to see both the added classes and the dropped classes.... :(

Financial aid is stating that I am missing documents including verification and the nursing state aid application....but the when I submitted the intent to enroll for I also submitted the nursing state aid application...Who can I call to make sure they have my application...and the verification I gues I was a chosen one unless I was suppose to have submitted it in the first place......confused about aid .......:confused:

Just send D.C an email clarifing and thanking her for all of her help = ) Just say something like "I am so glad you are here to help me...." lol that way if she doesnt want to do it she might think twice about it lol

you can fax in Financial Aid documents requested to 954-262-3966 and call to verfify they were recieved. I even faxed in my income taxes and everything else they would request lol I have not had to go into the campus at all = )

Hey guys our textbooks and website is posted; and they emailed me to register for mandatory Orientation which will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at the Terry Building, 3200 S. University Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Florida at 8:00 A.M

Yea I got the email also. Did u see the dress code for orientation? It says guys gotta wear trousers and a necktie? I dont get it cuz they said to wear comfy shoes lol

I know... so we are supose to dress up and then wear what ? sneakers arent allowed lol, I guess we just have to wear a pair of heals that we know for sure are good to our feet = )

Well this is exciting are you taking anyone ? I registered my Fiance' and Sister but at the end of the end they might not make it due to work but if one of them has the day off they will come with me = )

@karina my aid still says out of state. And future nurse just keep trying I'm sure we can get it done

Atleast its not too bad for me, i dont have to wear heals lol I might take my gf but she was deferred for the fall semester, I dont wanna ruin the whole orientation process for her. We got to enjoy NOV and DEC as much as we can, its getting closer n closer
