Hello perspective nursing classmates! Applying to any nursing program is nerve wrecking but I'm hoping this thread will allows us to help each other and support one another during this difficult process. Some of us have been through this more than once; hopefully it will be the last. I want to wish all of us the best of luck!

so far 5 of us (futurenurse, jani, futurenutrire, ely and i) are all in the same classed if anyone else feels like joining us feel free to change your schedule to the following;

crn-30004 - transition to baccalaureate nursing education - nur 3000 - e2

crn 30006 - introduction to professional nursing - nur 3160 - e2

crn30008 - mathematical applications for nursing practice - nur 3005 - e2

crn 30129 - adv. anatomy & phys. for health professions - phs 4904 - e2

as well we will all be meeting up sometime in mid december so that we can just chat and get to know one another & ask questions that others might have answers too since we will be together for the next 27 months. maybe we can do lunch somewhere inexpensive since we all know we need the money for school lol.

I have questions about the Florida residence document. If I am a dependant of my parents am I supposed to put my name on the employment part or my parents? I'm confused. Can someone help? Thanks

Ely, The employement questions in Section one of the application refer to you.

Section three is the part that you fill out for your parent(s), guardian or relative.

Hey guys!!

I havent been on in a while so I wanted to catch up on things. All of you guys are attending Davie right? I actually spoke to the coordinator yesterday and for kendall students we are getting our schedules Monday. I want to know if there are any kendall students that have received their schedules?

Thank u karina. Also, do I have to turn in my voters card, license, of myself or my parents or of both? And then the transcripts also? Don't they already have that?

@ ely turn in both for u and ur parents also if your parents own or rent I think they are gonna ask for copies of all that stuff!!! There is a number onthe first page the lady will tell u what u need!! Also ely if ur over 18 even though ur a depending u can claim the residency ur self just turn in ur voters I'd, copy of paystubs for couple months that u worked. And u can send them ur transcript. Also if u have access to print a copy u can just turn that in the transcript doesn't have to be official they just use in to show ur a resident and u attended school in Florida. Hope the info helped

hey if anyone can help me please..I noticed one if my classes were changed to e1 and I tried to change it yesterday but the website shows error: duplicate even though I already dropped it. So, I let it stand for 24 hours and tied again today and it is still telling me the same thing..

I dont understand. Am I supposed to claim residence or my parents? I am 22yrs old but I live with parents. I work also. But I dont understand if i have to turn in my pay stubs and all that or my parents. And i dont understand how im supposed to send all these documents in, I guess im gonna have to mail 20 diff letters with everything they ask for.
