Hello perspective nursing classmates! Applying to any nursing program is nerve wrecking but I'm hoping this thread will allows us to help each other and support one another during this difficult process. Some of us have been through this more than once; hopefully it will be the last. I want to wish all of us the best of luck! :nurse:

Yes we all have the E2 , do u all live in davie or miami or where? I live in Miami so got to drive pretty far everyday. Also have u all gotten ur financial aid and all done with everything? Im still waiting for my aid.

Also, did u get ur tuition? Mine says out state fl which is about 8,000, and I am a Florida Resident so I dont understand

I live in Miami by Miami Dade College North Campus. My financial aid is all posted the only thing pending is my residency status to change through our program for the correct charges to hit my account.

yeah once ur residency status is changed the diffrence is 410.00

When does that change? Is there a diff form we have to turn in? And yes ill be in davie

Ely, I filled out a form through financial aid and a form through our program which requested a bunch of proof for residency. They told me mine was processed already but not posted. Last semester they began posting a week or two prior to their orientation.

Jani, Yes Ill be at the Davie Campus.

Oh yeah that whole proof of residency thing that has to be notarized and all that? where do I turn that in? It said something about 45 days after registration so I didnt know we could turn it in yet. Do you really have to show proof of all those documents?

You have to show as many as you can and have available to submit. I mailed mine in two weeks after recieving my acceptance letter in July lol yeah super early I know = ) if you take it in it goes to the Health Professions Department Office.

@ely I was told to turn in as soon as possible becuz after they do all the updates if there is no proof of residency it stays on the acct!!
