Hello perspective nursing classmates! Applying to any nursing program is nerve wrecking but I'm hoping this thread will allows us to help each other and support one another during this difficult process. Some of us have been through this more than once; hopefully it will be the last. I want to wish all of us the best of luck! :nurse:

@Jani and Ely wow that sucks. That's $410 that students can use for books and uniforms! Well Ely turn that in ASAP.

I live by Jackson North (the old Parkway Hospital) in the North Miami Beach area. The drive from my house to Davie is going to be a mission everyday but hey it'll be worth it at the end. I turned in all of that stuff and Im still considered out-of-state. They cancelled one of my grants because to the system Im an out-of-state student. And I thought the $8000 was the price of the tuition; I didnt know it was the OOS fee!

Hey guys I just found out from Jerziana that we have orientation on January 5th and classes officially start on January 10th. The school decided to change it up so we can have a little time to get our stuff together before classes start.

Good, I saw that on my VIP page and as well noticed the start date of the classes, Im glad they are changing I few thing for our class. = ) I'm anxious to start but I am enjoying my free time = )

I have questions about the Florida residence document. If I am a dependant of my parents am I supposed to put my name on the employment part or my parents? I'm confused. Can someone help? Thanks

Me too Karina, Im enjoying my free time. By the way guys, Jerziana also advised us to refresh our memory by studying the naming of the bones and muscles.

futurenutrire did jerziana mean bones and parts of the bones or just bones itself because in anatomy we memorized the bones and parts of the bone (ex. femur and parts of the femur)..??
