NSU-BSN 2010 class

Has anyone applied for the Nova BSN program starting Jan 2010? If so, have you received any letters regarding the status of your application and when did you apply? What was your cummulative g.p.a and are you currently taking any pre-reqs? I applied mid August and still haven't received anything by mail. :(

Tekniq112- Hey, I was wondering if you have received a letter yet? I haven't yet;still nothing in the mail. I will let you know if i get anything tomorrow. If not, I will be driving to nova on monday and speaking to a student rep. keep me posted. Good luck! :up:

No I haven't recieved anything yet. I'm going crazy over here. They told me when I called that I should hear something by tomorrow. So I'm praying and patiently waiting. If I still don't recieve anything by tomorrow they're getting that phone call. God willing we're both in. Let me know if you hear anything.

I found out that they are mailing out letters till December 4 which means that we may receive our letters next week. The problem is that i need my letter before next Friday since I leave to Chile on Friday and i wont be return till December 21 and i need to pay my fees on time. Anyway, I won't be calling ill just drive over there and talk to someone on Monday. The good news is that we are not the only people who are still waiting. I'm going crazy too but God willing we both got in and we can all finally meet in January.

Hopefully you get yours before you have to leave. Wow that's a close call...I'll see you in January I'm sure.

By calling the nursing main number and spoke to someone who explain that they are running behind on sending out our letters. Therefore, they are sending letters out till December 4th. Also, I didn't get mine today. I expect to receive it next week. did you get anything yet?

No i applied to the Fort Lauderdale. How about you are you starting this January too? I heard that there is now the option to go to the Kendall campus if you live in Miami without getting the scholarship, so if for some reason i dont get the scholarship i would still like to go to the Kendall campus just because its so much closer to home.

Wow, really? That would be ideal for you considering you are close by. I know what that feeling is like. As far as me, I just learned I was accepted into the Ft. Meyers campus even though I did not apply for that one. I have not heard back from Ft. Lauderdale so I am really shaking in my pants. Since I didnt intend on or consider the Ft. Meyers campus, I dont have anything planned for there. Have you heard if any one has ever recieved two acceptances for both schools in the past.

Do you know if the Baptist Scholarship applies for Ft. Meyers as well?

Well remember that they are still sending out letters and i have heard that they are very behind so dont worry much! Any way i read once i think somewhere on this site that the Fort Myers option doesnt offer the Baptist scholars program, and that was one of the reasons that on my application i put that i didnt want to be considered for it, but im not 100% certain. Either way you will surely get your letter next week. Oh by the way, when i turned in my baptist scholars application (which came with acceptance) the girl thought that i had missed the deadline. I was confused because i had done it as fast as i could so she called the lady in charge and the lady said she was still taking applications. But i get the feeling that it needs to be done ASAP, the reason i say this is because you have to send out some things with the baptist application. I will PM you with the things the Baptist application requires in case you get the application that way you can turn it in fast.
