NRSE 4550 Evidence based practice starting Jan 13

Anyone in with me? For those of you who have already taken the class...what should we expect? Quizzes? lengthy papers? Is it pretty much like the other nursing classes? Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I bombed the Ethics quiz. I think I only got 2 right and one was by mistake! I took week 1 quiz tonight and was relieved it wasn't anything like the practice one! I read all 4 chapters and took a few notes here and there on the study guide and I did really well. The study guide is your friend. Good luck!

I pretty much memorized the concepts on the study guide each week and made sure I could apply them and I did really well on all of the quizzes. Good luck everyone!

Whew! Thanks! - Hope to get it done within the next few days - darn - something just came up- Blackboard is suddenly reaaaalllllly slow...right now. Could order a pizza and get it delivered by the time Blackboard gets it together....all other internet fine.

I took this last year, what ethics quiz.. it is about the ethics of research, irb's and such? We didn't have an ethics quiz, at least I don't remember.

I just finished Quiz #1 also. I have to say it wasn't too bad, and my grade is good. I did read the entire reading assignment and used the study guide with notations on it as well. Good luck to all.

Week 1 is done! Research question: am I more likely to retain information read in my text book if I read while drinking a martini? Is there a literature search available on that?
