NR 500 course

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Hello everyone!

I need your opinions and tips regarding this college especially NR 500 subject. I will be starting this Spring 2015 (january).

Thanks!

Yoyie,

I took NR 500 and as far as online courses go it was easy to follow and an easy course to take. It is basically an introduction to the setup of the program and APA format. You will complete some papers and a small power point. It is all to prepare you for the upcoming courses. I finished the course with almost 100%. Overall the program seems to be great. I have completed 5 courses so far and have gotten all A's but we will see what happens in Pharmacology and patho courses. I hear those are quite challenging. Good luck!

Thank you! Good to know :) I'll keep in touch with you if that's okay if I have further questions.

Specializes in Oncology.

NR 500 is pretty easy and straightforward. 100% manageable as I got an A, and I also work full time. I took NR 500 by itself and then doubled. I am on my 4th session, 3rd and final time to double. I am in 503 and 510 starting 1/5. PM if need be!!

Specializes in ICU,ER, Radiology, Online education.

I just finished NR 500 and got a 99.3% in the class. The 8 weeks was fine and I had a super supportive and great professor!

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

I also just finished with an A! It's not a bad course, just meant to refresh your knowledge of research methods and APA.

Absolutely! Feel free to message me or ask questions along the way, we are all here to support and help each other, good luck!

What, specifically, are you having trouble with? Creating the PowerPoint itself or selecting a topic?
