i'm also planning on taking the ncelx in november. am putting it off until then because i want to use suzanne's plan. i've been hard at work doing her first tip and have come to the end of that. in the meantime, before i get her next tips, i plan on studying the book, prioritization, delegation & assignment by lacharity, etc. we did a review at our school, too, which i hope to be able to review. i don't know if i can do all of this -- don't know how much time it will take to do suzanne's plan.

any ideas for making this forum extra helpful?

im taking mine on NOV 12.. a good friend of mine is taking it on NOV 6.. i hope this month is the perfect timing for us to achieve our goal!

What have you been using to study? Are you going to study all the way up to test date or take a small break before you go in on the 12th? Mine is on the 6th and I might even do a short test before I go in to get my mind going. Still deciding.....

LOL....that's so funny!!!! :lol2:I was about to reply on here as well & noticed it was 2007. Oh well, 2008 is our year!!!! I retake my test on Nov 21 2008...LOL:rollThis is my third attempt...and my last because 3 is my lucky number!!!! But most of all I have faith in God that He will help all of us remember everything we need and we will all walk away RN's !!! Stay positive and just picture the word PASS!!

hey adiaz! im taking a small break.. i dont want to study as much as i can.. the closer i get to my test date, i know i should take things lightly.. coz the more info i put on my head, the more i tend to panic and feel so overwhelmed..

but i answer 100 questions a day just to keep my mind going..

by the way, i used onlinenclexreview.com, mosby cd, saunders book.. and just reading the random facts..

Thank you for your prayer, I can use it. I have been using Kaplan and Saunders. I really haven't done much reading, just tons of questions. My plan is to use the strategies I have learned from Kaplan. I always keep in mind that if I am down to two answers that are good, what would I do if I could only do one thing before I go home, and what will cause my patient the least amount of harm. Most of all...take my time, don't panic, and stay confident!!

i am a hopeful november NCLEX taker! i am *patiently* waiting for my ATT.... the DON said i should get it within the next 2 weeks...

i have been using Kaplan and Made incredibly Easy... and i also took a review course. i dont wanna overdo it, but im afraid i will miss something and then that will be whats on there!

to everyone taking the test in november good luck!!!!! we can do this!!!!!!!!!!! we have come to far to let a test stop us from doing what we really want to do!!!

so whether it is your first, second, third, fourth, fifth etc..... who cares let's just focus on this test and pass!!!!! let's do it!!
