Novant Health Nurse Residency Spring 2024 Cohort

I wanted to start a thread for anyone who has applied to Novant's nurse residency program. I had a general interview with HR last week and then a "meet the team" zoom this week. Did anyone else have to interview twice? Has anyone heard back?

 

Anxiously waiting a decision. 

I accepted a postion for the NICU and they made a market adjustment and new grad base pay now is $33.21 per hour.

They up the pay to $33.40

More money with EMT and LPN experience. I have LPN experience so they offered me $34.10.

I applied to the residency program late, is there still a chance I might get in?

@jmoble12 I applied under the 2025 cohort. Do you mind sharing what your outcome was? My status says under consideration and I have no idea what it means

@SourWatermelon when did you apply? How has it been "in consideration?” They have different start dates so you should be okay

@Carolina Castro I interviewed in early December, and it changed from pending decision to under consideration yesterday. They said that they are doing things differently this year than in previous years. I applied for the critical care track. Some of my classmates status changed to hidden though.

@SourWatermelon have you received an update? I also interviewed in early December and my status says "under consideration-interviewed by hiring manager.” I also just received a "we're sending out offers/rejections now. If you don't hear back by the end of March please email us.” At this point I'm feeling really discouraged.

@KC7187 I haven't heard anything in return, my status says the same. I just checked my email, and have the same thing. I am more discouraged now than I was previously. The volume of applications they received this cohort, was overwhelming they said.

@SourWatermelon I received an email that said I was offered a position and to schedule a call with one of the managers of the nurse residency program. No details on which track. What about you?

@SourWatermelon I applied for Wilmington. During the interview I told them NICU was my first choice then adult critical care was second. I'm not sure if NICU is with women's health or if it's lumped in with adult critical care or how it works.
