  1. @Carolina Castro okay that makes me feel a lot better! I would/will be relocating 8 hours away for the position, so I was feeling a little apprehensive. Is transferring easy even if it's not part of your residency track? I understand I have to complete the residency first, but when I am done my dream is NICU and I know a lot of people want that speciality.
  2. @Nani_ I just wish I knew what criteria they used to decide who gets the specialties they want and who gets whatever they have left. I definitely felt confident in my interview, so I was surprised to not get offered any unit I said I was interested in.
  3. @Nani_ so they called me with the offer for an area I had never heard of and I told the recruiter I really wanted the Wilmington Market and Women's Health. They emailed me a new offer for Wilmington, but I still wasn't offered Women's Health. I'm still debating what to do. During my interview my recruiter only talked about Women's Health and I was told by interviewing so early, it would be very likely I would get the speciality I wanted. Very disappointed.
  4. @SourWatermelon @lmm111 Did either of you get offers based on what you wanted? I literally didn't get into the market I wanted or any of my choices in units. I kinda feel scammed/like my time was wasted.
  5. @lmm111 not sure what track mine is for here. I put NICU and postpartum as my first two choices, so I am hoping for Women's health track. ??
  6. @SourWatermelon nope! I am actually all the way in Maryland! I'm super excited/anxious to relocate!
  7. @SourWatermelon yay! Congratulations!!
  8. @SourWatermelon have you not heard anything yet? If not, I wouldn't get discouraged. My offer might be for Women's health since that was my first choice.
  9. @Carolina Castro thank you for clarifying that! I wasn't for sure. Are you in the residency program currently? Any input or advice?
  10. @SourWatermelon I applied for Wilmington. During the interview I told them NICU was my first choice then adult critical care was second. I'm not sure if NICU is with women's health or if it's lumped in with adult critical care or how it works.
  11. @SourWatermelon I received an email that said I was offered a position and to schedule a call with one of the managers of the nurse residency program. No details on which track. What about you?
  12. @SourWatermelon have you received an update? I also interviewed in early December and my status says "under consideration-interviewed by hiring manager.” I also just received a "we're sending out offers/rejections now. If you don't hear back by the end of March please email us.” At this point I'm feeling really discouraged.
