Hi! I will be submitting my NSU application at the beginning of next week (just waiting on my second L.O.R.) and I can't wait! I am very anxious to hear back from them, and have my fingers tightly crossed I will get accepted for spring. Are there any other hopefuls out there??

Kayla- I emailed Ashley today about receiving word back before Halloween weekend so I could make arrangements to head down there for the open house. Her exact words were "we hope to have a decision made by the end of October". Hope?!?! So does that mean some of us will be waiting until November. This whole process seems never ending! I don't want to take a 3 hour drive only to find out a couple days later that I didn't get accepted

Kayla is right about the Webstar account its created after you submit your FAFSA with Nova's school code.

I know how you feel, I check my email, vip account, Webstar, and mail box daily. I feel like calling nova and asking if notifications have been sent out. Has anyone heard anything new??? I really hope we receive something soon..lol

Whaaaaat? Yea, that sort of makes me think that it's possible that some of us won't find out until November. I thought it was late October the latest :uhoh3:. I e-mailed A. last week to get a more clear idea of when we would hear back because my $500 Miami deposit deadline was approaching and I was trying to put off paying it if I would hear from Nova that week. She responded that she would try to get back to me by this week. Now I'm sort of glad I paid the $500 just so my spot is held until I find out Nova's decision. But now my background check deadline (another $135) is approaching so I'm starting to panic a little bit. Ahhh!

Kayla- Yea, that's really good that you put your deposit down at UM, but honestly, I doubt you'll have any problem being accepted to nova judging from your gpa. It's just so frustrating that we'll only have 2 months after answers are sent out to get loans, find roommates, and find a place to live! I'm bugging out. My birthday is the 28th and I keep telling myself it will arrive that day as the best birthday gift ever lol

Aww haha that'd be so awesome if you found out the good news exactly on your birthday!! It's definitely possible :) I agree- it's so little time to put everything in place to make it all come together. That's my problem- I'm a planner and an overanalyzer all of the time so I just want to figure out the living arrangements, money, and school supplies NOW haha. But as far as the trip goes, honestly, I'd make the arrangements to come down anyway. I know you're worried about the possibility of not getting in, but you can't really think of it that way, you've got to stay positive!

can anyone please inform me when is the open house? i havent received any info in regards to that. i applied in Miami Dade and Nova so im waiting to see which school response first. I feel like I been waiting forever for a response :mad: The positive side is that were getting closer to the day they send out acceptance letters. Good luck to all of you.xoxo:nurse:

Hey guys,

I emailed A as well and she pretty much told me that decisions should be made by the end of October. I'm getting more and more anxious as the days go on because I feel like it's already the end of October!!!! ..maybe it's just me lol. But aside from applying to nova, I also applied to dade and I'm trying to maintain myself because I REALLY WANNA KNOW IF I GOT IN OR NOT!!! :p smh I hope we all will know soon because of all the planning that needs to be done and all of the things that need to get paid for prior to starting the semester.
