Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if there is anyone who has applied to NSU's Entry Level BSN program RECENTLY and got in. I want to apply for Fall 2013's program. What was your GPA when you applied, how hard was it do you think to get in overall, just any personal experiences with your application journey.
I have a 3.691 currently and have taken Anatomy 1 & 2 with labs and got A's. Now I'm taking Microbiology and getting a B currently, will I be okay? Still have Chemistry and Human Growth and Dev. to take in the spring.
Yeah its supposed to be 60 students. So thats why I dont understand why over 100 people have appleid to Baptist unless some where from the davie campus or Nova accepetd more than 60 students since there was a large number of students that dont end up going to Nova because of its price.
Thats the same thing I was thinking. Unless the panelist from baptist is just throwing numbers out there, or those numbers includes all applicants including barry and nova

No when I went they told me more than 100 from Nova alone. So thats why I dont get why they have that many people. I also asked them if they had more applicants than last year and they said they had about the same this year.

Do u think the student from the davie campus is also applying?
Its a possiblity, and I mean why else would there that many students applying. But if any appply wont they be disqualified considering the scholarship is only for Nova Kendall students.

Hey rndreamer30, i believe some of the students are from Davie that applied for the scholarship as well. I have a friend that did and they called her for an interview. That could be the only way to end up having over 100 applicants for Nova. I was told that the scholarship was for the Kendall campus students only so it's a bit confusing. I advised her to call them to make sure they knew she was from main campus and that it wouldn't be a problem. I will let you guys know when she gets back to me. If i am not mistaken i heard that they accepted 85 students this year (don't quote me on that) I am going to find out. When i had the tour after my interview the lady told us the maximum that they could take was 75 students, so i don't know. That is a good question...i would really like to know how many students are in our class for this year.
It seems most of the students who applied to the scholarship got their interview already. I think they are almost done with Nova as well. My friend has her interview for Barry next week. I know Nova was being interviewed first and then Barry. 30 students from Barry will receive the scholarship this year. When I went on my interview they said 48 students as well. I guess that gives everyone almost a 50% chance of getting it. I take 48 over 25 any day! :) Good luck everyone! We will know soon if we got the scholarship.

I suppose it's because everyone says the A&P class is so hard. Okay, i get it won't be easy but coming up with a strategy is of utmost priority. We can totally pass this class!!! I don't know how everyone feels but i guess i'm trying to be encouraging if you feel the same way. We will be fine you guys!!!

Am very intersted and would like to know, will your friend will be disqualified ? The Nova website says its only for kendall students. When I went on my interview back in march I heard 65, maybe it was 75. Where did you hear 85?

I get like that sometimes too. But what might be hard for someone else might be easy for you. If u did well in ur A&P class before this should not be too hard.

hey :) its def only the kendall campus thats applying because i asked when i had my interview and aslso, nova had told me that as well because i was considering applying for the davie campus so that i could really have that college feel and i was told that if i do i will not be able to apply to baptist because apparently baptist only gives the scholarship to students who do their clinicals through them and the davie campus does not...also, i think nova accepted more students becasuse baptist upped the number that they are accepting so in the end nova will have the same # of students in their classes and the remainder will be basptist scholars students....ahhh this wait is killing me lol im so scared everyone on here will get it but me lol

If Nova is accepting more students that would explain alot. :)
