Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if there is anyone who has applied to NSU's Entry Level BSN program RECENTLY and got in. I want to apply for Fall 2013's program. What was your GPA when you applied, how hard was it do you think to get in overall, just any personal experiences with your application journey.
I have a 3.691 currently and have taken Anatomy 1 & 2 with labs and got A's. Now I'm taking Microbiology and getting a B currently, will I be okay? Still have Chemistry and Human Growth and Dev. to take in the spring.
If they are accepting more students then that gives us a greater chance! I hope thats true! I cant wait to hear back from them.. Hopefully its sooner than we think :)
Has anyone order their scrubs top. I received mine today but i was under the impression that it would have the logo from Nova, mines only have my name and below it says , nsu nursing student.

hellloo!!! i'm a bit confused with the health insurance thing. How do we know if we can use our own health insurance? i called but they said they didn't know. that if it didn't meet their requirements then it wouldn't work.

Yeah you have to wait till you are registered in classes..but in my case i don't have any insurance so i was looking around to see which one i find to meet their requirements. i called and the guy i talked to said that if we are going to waive it, it needs to have this
-Maximum plan coverage of at least $500,000 per incident.
-Insurance that is accepted in the State of Florida and/or at the NSU Health Clinic.

Do u know what type or where can i get the shoes. One of nova nursing staff said they shoes have to be white leather.

If you are comfortable with buying shoes online then allheart.com and srubshopper.com has great options. If not you can visit a uniform store and try on some. Try Uniforms for America in plantation, Fl or Uniform Advantage in South Miami. Those are the only ones i really know of personally but i am sure there are others. Good luck! I find the Timberland Pro Renova Professional to be cute...lol.
I get like that sometimes too. But what might be hard for someone else might be easy for you. If u did well in ur A&P class before this should not be too hard.

Am very intersted and would like to know, will your friend will be disqualified ? The Nova website says its only for kendall students. When I went on my interview back in march I heard 65, maybe it was 75. Where did you hear 85?
Yeah i haven't heard back from her. I'll let you know. Another friend told me she was told 85 students from someone at Nova.
hey :) its def only the kendall campus thats applying because i asked when i had my interview and aslso, nova had told me that as well because i was considering applying for the davie campus so that i could really have that college feel and i was told that if i do i will not be able to apply to baptist because apparently baptist only gives the scholarship to students who do their clinicals through them and the davie campus does not...also, i think nova accepted more students becasuse baptist upped the number that they are accepting so in the end nova will have the same # of students in their classes and the remainder will be basptist scholars students....ahhh this wait is killing me lol im so scared everyone on here will get it but me lol
I think they are taking more students too. Noooo plz don't think like that. Try to stay positive!!! I know the wait is rough but it makes it harder if we are not positive. Do not worry...only time will tell. Good Luck
