Nova Southeastern University Entry Level BSN?

Published

Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if there is anyone who has applied to NSU's Entry Level BSN program RECENTLY and got in. I want to apply for Fall 2013's program. What was your GPA when you applied, how hard was it do you think to get in overall, just any personal experiences with your application journey.

I have a 3.691 currently and have taken Anatomy 1 & 2 with labs and got A's. Now I'm taking Microbiology and getting a B currently, will I be okay? Still have Chemistry and Human Growth and Dev. to take in the spring.

Thanks everyone in advance! :)

We should all make a study group for anatomy and physiology. Last semester I took zoo3731 at FIU which is anatomy on steroids and I can honestly say im an expert lol. So if any of you are willing to study together let me know!

Did any questions get you off guard?

Congrats to everyone accepted. Let me warn you A&P is noooo joke! Start studying now! I got accepted and I had a 4.0 was an EMT, FF, Spent 13yrs in the army. I got 3 A's and a C this past semester. Unfortunately a 74% is considered failing. I will be in your A&P class. I actually am already studying 5 days a week. If you have any questions on your courses please ask.

Thank you so much for posting and giving us such useful/essential information. I'm sorry that you failed that class but hey second time is a charm..right? ;) I have heard that A&P is the most difficult course in the first semester. Can you please post the name of the book for the math class? I want to buy that early too. Thanks again!

Hi every one! So I am a bit lost here. I was accepted back in March but other than my acceptance packet and request for Fl resident info, haven't heard from the school at all. I see everyone talking about scrubs and books and classes etc... and with the program starting so soon I can't help feeling I am missing something. Have you guys been contacted or are you just getting a head start (which is brilliant) based on info from here/friends already in? Thanks!

Hey there, i think we all are just trying to be as prepared as we can to start. I don't think you are missing anything but i do find it a tad bit strange that noone has contacted you. You might need to call them or maybe you are doing everything right . Which campus were you accepted to?

Fox, Stuart Ira (2009) Human Physiology 11th edition. ISBN 978-0-07-352564-8.

Anatomy book is giving to you by professor first day of class.

Math is a joke but people have trouble i got a 100% was only student hat did. I an tutor anyone.

Intro is alot of group work, skits, and papers. Other intro lass same thing. I have notes for everyclass. I also recorded A&P and have all of the power points. No matter if u at kendall or davie A&P is at davie everyone together for that class

How are the professors? Are they helpful and teach well? Do they really care for their students? or Are they so intimidating you don't want to ask questions in class? Does the edition of the book matter? I see that they have the 12th Edition available. Many thanks :)

Hey everyone I just saw this thread, I just found out that I got accepted for the fall 2013 entry-level at Ft. Myers campus. Is there a Facebook page for everyone who got accepted?

Congratulations! Welcome! You must be super excited? Most of us i think are in the Miami-Kendall Campus.
