I haven't seen a post about NSU's Entry-level BSN program for Fall 2015 so I decided to start one. If there is another thread that everyone else is on, please let me know! I double-checked to make sure there weren't any posts hiding but I could be wrong.
Anyway, I am waiting for my final transcripts to be sent to Nova. Other than that, now it's just the waiting game and I'm super anxious. They wont be calling people until Feb or March probably. I finished my AA with Broward College this December. I underestimated application deadlines and the application process to get everything together so unfortunately I will have a semester off from school.
I also applied to FAU's Traditional BSN program. I have a thread about that as well if you also applied to that school. You can jump over to that thread by clicking here
If all else fails I was thinking of just going back to Broward College, possibly their North campus.
If anyone has any stories or advice/knowledge about any of these programs, please share! If you're an applicant to NSU as well, good luck! Hope we get the responses that we want.

They only offered 50 scholarships for how many nova entry level positions? oh my goodness...this is killing me. Well lets be positive...maybe they decided to call the other half tomorrow.
I just checked my email right now and I am sad to say they did not accepted me. So I guess I will graduate with debt. I am so sad I cannot begin to tell you.

I didn't get a call either today. Hopefully we get the call tomorrow. Maybe they are calling in batches!! How do you know they offer the scholarship to 50? I think they only offer the scholarship for those who are starting in the fall and everyone who was accepted had the chance to apply for the scholarship. I don't know how many nova accepted but I don't believe is more than 100 students maybe 110 top.

Indianny check your email. I did and I received a letter of denial. I am so sad!! Maybe in your case they will call you tomorrow
Which email address? The nova one or the personal one we gave them in the application?
Wow now I'm even more stress. This sucks! so sorry to hear that, but you know what at least we got accepted to NOVA!! AND we will still be RN

I know, I can imagine. Really sorry about the denial. I'm praying for a miracle. if it's not meant to be its not, but if it is I will be waiting lol
I received my denial letter as well in the mail, it's ok probably God wants other things for us. God bless the ones that got the scholarship and those that didnt this is not the end of out of our dreams. we are still going to be nurses and them when we graduate we can choose for who we want to work or move somewhere else where nurses get paid more. Good luck in our nursing school and I am really excited to start already.
